This changes, especially the heat change will not heavily penalize players that manage their heat, going overheat two or three times wont kill you, but players that are constantly running with override function and alpha striking will begin to feel it.

- UI static, stuttering
- Sound effects
- damage mech window(this has been brought up many times, not once by me)
- sparks or steam in cockpit
- many other high quality sim effects...

falling is also ********, as the pilots are strapped in via iron cage brace. as for headshot, just look up the caliber of an MG round, and tell me you wouldn't be dead from just one of those.
mate either disagree with the post politley and provide useful feedback or don't post at all, and secondly you should read up on some lore because these things happen even with these items in place, which doesn't guarantee 100% flawless saftey, there are still risks to piloting these warmachines and this game needs to reflect such risks and conditions.

pilot status display could be placed onto a monitor inside the cockpit, would make it look more livley then too

Again, get over yourself.
If I wanted to belittle your precious clubhouse, I'd probably have used a term like Crutch of "Skill". Just as an FYI.
You didn't quote anything relevant?...
You also seem to be getting mad Bishop. You don't need to. It's only a game

From a gameplay point, no. We don't need more things that can take mechs out of the game quickly.

You're right every thing you've made a point to complain about, is irrelevant. And yet you are clinging to it like a pit bull with tetanus.
Funny that.

No no, you didn't quote anything relevant to your argument, not mine.
You don't have to be mad, it's only a game

As far as heat goes; it's your choice (just like MASC) to overheat and die 'quickly.' If this gets players tone down on ALPHA ALPHA/-I think that's been a big goal by PGI for a while now.
So IMO: it is only an additional layer to current gameplay and not a complete restructure.
Of course they could buff flamers and add infernos for some...New Gameplay

Hell, allow up to 3 or 4 different pilots on name and have actual perma-deaths if we want to get really spicy.

Pilot tree could have buffs like:
Combat conditioning - your pilot takes reduce damage form overheating
Increased accuracy - convergency increase that's already in game
anchor turn - derived from your pilots better sense of balance as he gets used to his mech
Mech tree:
increased heat capacity
increased cooldown reduction
speed tweek
Obviously many more perks, some new ones, some reassigning of the perks already in game, would have to flesh out the idea a little better, but would be interesting having to have you choose a build that suits your playstyle rather than having the upgrade "trees" like we have right now which are basically something you grind till you get them all, with no sense of real choice or personalization. A respeccing option obviously would be a must, so that u can play around until you can find the combination that best suits your own playstyle.

Also many a Warrior got busted lips, arms or Legs from being tossed around in their restraining harness. Wearing a seat belt reduces teh risk of serious injury, it doesn't provide perfect protection.

Again, this is a mech simulator, not a tabletop role playing game.
Talking about mouths, you better shut yours. Language, kiddo.
Uhhh, yeah...you're simulating piloting the 'mech, so while you may not like his suggestion, he is correct.
And what language did he use that was so offensive, buttercup?

No hes not. The pilot powering up the mech sounds and animation is still the coolest thing about this game. More sim like features like that would improve the game.
Its like the Fallout series where the player character actually raises his arm to look at the PIP boy. Thats an awsome sim feature.
I hope some of the trollish comments here are not from players or staff from 3rd rate games muddying the prestine waters of this forum.
Hey pilot health or other info could be on pilots arm computer of some sort.

The idea of a real pilot, including damage- and view effects is as old as MWO. We told the Devs time and again that something like blurry vision over a certain heat threshold or heat-induced pilot damage would be a cool thing (which in fact would totally fit into the early design pillars which literally told us that MWO is all about "us", the pilot of the mech - that's also why we never were meant to get 3PV, go figure
But as with all cool ideas, the answer is basically the same: PGI. Won't happen. Minimally viable product.
