such games are usually due to some positioning mistake/fluke, not because your team was bad

I do believe one reason that you were the last person standing and had good damage was the fact that you were in an LRM Orion. But that 26 damage Executioner is just laughable.

Hell man I led a flank around E3 on Canyon.
The only mech that bothered to follow me was the second to last mech standing.
Novakaine hardly ever lurms from the rear.
Novakaine lurms from the front.

Match Scores. 6 of 10 or lower. That means, not only did then hardly hit anything with weapons, they did not stay near Lance, spot, flank, UAV, TAG, NARC, target, or any other thing that garners scoring.

Not only did they solo fail, they team failed.

That is why you stay out of pug queue. Only drop there to "warm up' before dropping in the group queue/CW.

Yesterday my team lost to a team that included an Orion which only had four LRM5+Artemis' mounted. No lasers, PPCs, or autocannons in addition. Nor even TAG. Yikes.

As the guy who had the most damage on our team that got rolled in that screencap (can see my disconnect name there) in my Grid Iron, the problem was that our team was incredibly split apart.

Also, I was spectating you after I died, you were pretty far away from the front using your LRMs. Granted it was towards the end of the match but when there was four or five of us left you were on the other side of the canyon.

I don't know about you but when a roll happens to me, almosty always the roll is so hard that 2 or 3 guys are always just trying to catch up. It mostly happens in group queue for me and always when the other team get found in transitional positioning and get destroyed 1 by 1.

I just got stomped 5 times in a row. The 6th was a conquest we won on point with the last mech running from 6 enemies. I share your pain.

I also don't think it's mostly bad positioning, if you can't break 200dmg in an Assault or heavy in a brawl you're either new or quite bad - and there were A LOT of those.... .

Oh man I should start taking screenshots for this thread. Multiple times per night I get more damage then the best player on the opposite team and my team loses anyway. Yeah PUG life, and yeah carry harder, but man it is often frustrating. My match last night I did 815 dmg and 3 kills (all assaults!) and lost anyway.

Maybe if you were in a direct fire mech in the front you would have won Your team just couldn't carry you that match. Happens.

Yep, people just mash W, and run themselves right out of good positions straight into a trap.. usually because 1 ECM locust is trying to lead a charge.
