Someone on facebook suggested that the "Report C.... do you read?" could be, "Report Cadet do you read?"
That fits, and it also fills in the following line.
"Received. Thank god team leader"
Puts the whole thing as
Seems like the first part is the lance leader trying to reach another member, the stuff in between I'm not clear on (all the capitalized stuff, could be computer readouts if it is intercepted transmissions as appears suggested). The italics would be the cadet reporting back to the team leader, the bold a computer warning voice heard in the background (suggested on facebook regarding the messages).
You wouldn't capitalize the c on cadet though. I'm betting that's a name, like Casey.

True, didn't think of that. Though I suppose the team leader portion would still work. Casey actually fits very well considering at least one of the pilots are female.

To be honest, except for the fact that the arms would be on backwards it almost looks like the 1A9 Charger:

note the distinctive T-shaped cockpit window.
And the CRG-1A9 would certainly give a Hunchback pause, jumping 80tonner with an LRM-20 & 4 MLs.
No, wait... jumping. Lemme find a pic.
ooo, I think I've got it, and this would definitely leave a HBK dictating some final words:

I like how functional and ergonomic the cockpit looks. Everything seems to be tucked away from the center of the view based on importance, just like it would be in real life. At first I just thought "whatever, more concept stuff" but after this breakdown I want to jump in a 'mech for real, or build a replica cockpit to pilot my 'mech from or something! Thanks!

Jammed my ac20 is jammed

Tell my husband I love him
Caris. sp Because of the mech4 Vengeance intro movie. The chick that gets tore up by LRM's and didn't eject
Temp lower because the bar is high and the dummy light on the dash looks lit.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this Special Wednesday.
Made my vacation!
Thanks guys.
EDIT: Also it indicates 30 rounds of AC20. I'm guessing this possibly means faster firing weapons, not single shot cannons . But unsure at this point.

Thats a first concept. I'm sure there will be some changes, but 's all there we need, I like it. Esp. the analog backup instruments, I love dials!
What about an old whiskey compass high up the front window, in case the lights go down? Now we all gonna see how one has to take the Hunch - from his weak right side!!!
Nice work flyingdebris, as always.

Thanks a lot S3dition!

Very nice. I got a little chuckle out of the "consumer grade" joystick and throttle.
whats interesting, it looks like a more upgraded version of a Saitek X52:

I was going by TT rules of 5 shots on AC20 ammo per ton. The question has been floating around, is that 5 rounds or is it separated into multiple round bursts to achieve the same amount of damage.

The way it's set up would be information overload. It has something like 16 different video screens! Too many different, single-purpose displays in too many different places. There's no way you could scan all those displays without taking your eyes off what's outside the cockpit.
All critical combat info should be tightly clustered together in a group of 2-4 Multi-Function Displays that have multiple, easily accessed modes. The displays should be up front and centered in the pilot's view just below the glass. Secondary things like communications info and detailed reports on 'Mech systems can be displayed in lookdown or side-mounted displays.
Compare the cockpit of the Space Shuttle, one of the most complex vehicles ever designed by Man:
http://human-factors...shuttlemeds.jpg
Note that it has only 9 MFDs, and is capable of displaying all relevant flight info, and that's for two people using the cockpit at once. Either pilot is using only 4-5 at a time.

Except for the jumpjets, the weapon loadout you just described is a classic HBK-4G Hunchback. If they've added jumpjets though, this could hint at player customization, as there is no known variant of the HBK series with an AC/20, 2 ML, 1 SL and JJs. That tonnage has to come from somewhere and I'd say it probably came from the armor.
