I'm dubious there isn't a hitbox issue with a Cheetah. Not complaining here; the FS had one for a long time. So did the Spider.

Just had a match earlier today where a Cheetah powered down and my Crab put 2 AC20 rounds and 2xLPLs into his left leg and.... stripped the armor and put the internals at yellow. Later watched a firestarter firehose the legs of one with MPLs. I mean firehosed it.

It's low on the legs, below the knee. Could be a ping issue (what with servers bouncing all over) or the like but I haven't noticed it with anything else.

Anyone who says the ARC has no hitbox issues needs some serious therapy PRONTO.

The ARC, much like the FS, and most other lights, has hitbox issues.

Any pilot whose personal accuracy falls into Area A will kill Lights faster with Streaks than direct-fire weapons. Any pilot whose personal accuracy falls into Area B will kill Lights faster with direct-fire weapons.

I understood your chart just fine the first time, The problem is, there are zero players who fall into area B. You're talking about purely theoretical players who do not exist.

Nah, they exist. Or, existed. I'm not sure. I stopped playing at the league level after RHOD s2. I've definitely seen more than a few players capable of shooting in Area B consistently, but many of them have probably quit the game at this point.

It used to be that there were just some teams you knew your Lights were wasted slots against, since they'd get 1-shot no matter what you did. Good times.

Every NKVA player falls into area B.

Yeah.
The Clans should have the best mechs in all of the weight classes! Not just 3 of 4!

Quite lucky that there's only 1 class where they have a huge significance atm and even still we got the mechs to make those heavies cry am I right?

Dear PGI,

Don't you DARE nerf this mech due to IS whining! We finally have a light with potential. Leave it alone. Thank you.

You forgot to mention that YOU are the PAYING customers vs. all the F2P scum.

I do not expect the Cheetah so see much use in CW.

While it might be a decent light, it still remains a light. It has neither the staying- nor the firepower required for CW.

it has a perect spot in a TBR, TBR, SCR and ACH dropdeck. 5tons left for after war party equipment.

I prefer to run 75/65/65/35.

In CW, I have had great success with the Adder - it is basically a baby Stormcrow. I just prefer the greater damage potential at medium ranges.

I will still bring my adder, but most people will switch to these loadouts.

Well it IS clan tech.

When should is tech be equal to clan? Never.

Only way is won was with getting smart and using better tactics.

And having Stackpole as an author...

Really, it's fine for lore and stories and RPGs, but playing against in a first-person shooter? Not so much.
