I made two wall papers from their website assets. They're low resolution unfortunately.
I expanded the city. Raised the jets, and moved the mechs around a bit. And obviously played around with the colours in the second image

A turn based MECH game can be extremely rewarding.. anyone who has ever played Mission force:Cyberstorm will attest to that...

I loved that game, and the only thing I think I missed in it was that it was not the battletech setting.

This game has the ability to make that right, if they don't mess it up and do it justice. I hope they will, since the creator of the BT Universe is in their employ..

Different kind of game.

It will be a good introduction (both in lore as in mechanics) to the Battletech universe for new players. And, because of the shared visual identity, new people might come to MWO.

Without knowing what kind of state it will come out in...I just can't support this.

Hairbrained did an excellent job with their Shadowrun Return games, after that success and a game that's actually built for turn based combat their Battletech is likely to be even better.
