Yep, it does! Now you have to click even more to get back to the previous menu that you were on before a match. Bravo Guys, Bravo!

yep,harder to find your mech, and takes longer= suck.

If it sucked I would say so but it doesnt. Its looking great acually. They are updating it again next time even for the one complain for mech select I did have. Im not even having the half mech blocked problem some are having.

In fact the new mech portraits even makes immersion better because those ugly green mechs are now beautifull. :) Improved the dropship UI appearnce to!

Looks and functionality are two different things. Looks great, functionality is terrible IMO.

Least it's better than the last one, be grateful for that instead of putting the new one down.

Havn't yet tried the new MechGrid, but the "Mech Select" popup from before was atrocious. This looks like a great improvement and once persistent filters are added I can't see any major complaints with it. Adding icon size options would be great next addition.

Once the "saved filters" feature for the mechlab is implemented, it's going to suck much less honestly.

Right now, it's just annoying since it is missing currently.

As outlined in the August 4th Patch Notes we have additional improvements to the new Select 'Mech screen currently scheduled for the August 18th patch.
  • Filter persistence between client sessions, after matches, and after Testing Grounds sessions
  • New Select 'Mech menu access in Private Lobbies (new Select 'Mech in the Community Warfare Drop Deck screen will unfortunately not make the August 18th patch)
  • Display of equipped Cockpit Items in the 'Mech Stats window
The following Select 'Mech menu changes are also set to release on August 18th
  • The currently-equipped Engine will be listed below the Jump Distance slot in the 'Mech Stats window and in the mouse-over pop-up window
  • The number of portraits displayed per row in resolutions above 1280x720 will be reduced by 1 to allow for better views of the selected 'Mech model
  • Resolving an issue where 'Mech portraits could appear blurry if the client was set below 1080p when the portrait was created

- 'Mech portraits will always capture at 1080p, regardless of your client resolution.
- Texture quality inside the portrait will still reflect whatever texture quality level you were at when the portrait was updated.[/indent]<p style="color: rgb(238, 238, 238); font-family: HelveticaNeue-Light, 'Helvetica Neue Light', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, 'Lucida Grande', sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px; background-color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"

there is room for improvement, but its alot better than it use to be. I would like the ability to sort by mech weight. currently it sorts the mechs alphabetically.

- Add an option to scale the UI to let me see my mech
- Also, for gods sake, save this option too
- Add an option that grabs my mech colors, I own 60 mechs, am I really supposed to change the colours of them all just to get a thumbnail?
- Remove either the MechLab Tab or the Loadout tab or connect them. The screen is way too cluttered already and two options to get into editing a mech seem confusing.
- Make the Mech quirk screen more visible, even experienced players can't find it and it's the single most important thing when building a Mech

gotta disagree. I was a lot faster finding stuff on the old list. It wasn't pretty but for those that don't need pop up books, it was fast.

Well honestly I think a UI should look cool and I like to see my garage. GTA V could just have a list of your owned cars but instead they build you a nice Garage to look at all your puppies.

I agree that it was faster though. And since this an e-sport game now, maybe that really was better. :unsure:

u dont have 2 change colors, all u have 2 do is 2 change something in your loadout - take off 1 ton of ammo, save - and there u go, the icon has updated!

Define harder? You need to click what 3-5 times to find the mech you want to use?
click to enter the lab
click to choose tonnage range
click to pick Centurion (for instance)
Click to pick YLW

4 clicks to choose the Mech. Man how time consuming! :rolleyes:

i dislike the new mech selection screen cos i can't see on the fly where i left modules in.
