Dear Dimwits PGI,

Let me explain something to you:
Since the early 90's, Singapore Internet - ALL OF TRAFFIC - has to go through a censorship proxy. I lived there for 10 years, i still know the proxy settings by heart. You cannot go in or out without traffic being passed through the great firewall of Singapore.

According to tracer i am running there is huge packet-loss to you sh.itbox server WITHIN SINGAPORE. That's what happens when you chose an autocratic dictatorship for a location. Try China or North Korea next. See if that works out for you...

Don't believe me? here is a Wikipedia article for your developers monkeys :

Internet censorship in Singapore is carried out by the Media Development Authority (MDA). Internet services provided by the three major Internet service providers (ISPs) are subject to regulation by the MDA, which requires blocking of a symbolic number of websites containing "mass impact objectionable" material, including Playboy, YouPorn and Ashley Madison.[1] The city state reportedly employs deep packet inspection of Internet traffic.[2]

I think Iran would be a great place for a server personally

I'm assuming your suggestions were sarcasm....North Korea runs of a Intranet and you cannot get in or out without their permission....much like this but worse.

But yea...hindsight.

I'm sure PGI would be much more interested in listening to you if you weren't insulting them at the same time.

Also, amusing that you instantly ascribe the technical issues to their censorship systems which may or may not have anything to do with it. Do you actually have proof of the claim?

I suspect not. Chill, dude. We get it, you hate censorship, autocratic dictatorships and they don't deserve having hot mech action, but be civil to PGI if you want them to listen and care about what you say.

For that matter, it also helps for us to care about what you say, too.

There's no packet loss whatsoever there.

That one hop that doesn't answer is a hop obviously configured not to respond to pings, which is basically how traceroute style network tools work and hardly an anomaly. The fact the next hop answers 100% of the time puts the lie on your claims.

So, where's the proof of your claim (that doesn't actually disprove you)?

So, you basically have zero evidence to support your claims immature insults and just threw out that link in the vain hope that it somehow helps your case?

You are adorable. Last I checked, Singapore STILL has some of the cheapest yet most efficient Internet connections anywhere on the world, and I don't see any censorship for any online game I have played since ever in my entire life here in Singapore.

In fact, what does being an "autocratic"(top kek) country got to do with Internet connectivity? Last I checked, Australia is a bloody ocean away and I am pretty sure that's got something to do with it.

Edit: You know, for a supposedly 38-year old person, you don't know how to be mature about a topic.

Bottom line - either Singapore can provide or they cannot - give them some time to get it right - but after that, perhaps a move is in order. We need a working server, and nothing less than that will do.

We should know one way or another shortly.

Singapore has been providing stable MMO servers for a veryyyyyyy long time. We, south east asian players, are pretty familiar with this.

Dear OP,
When writing an opinionated letter to some one or some entity, it is more, no MUCH more effective to simply state your ideas in a straightforward way, with concise points and proof of said points. Sometimes hard proof is impossible to attain, in which case you can only put the points out in a logical fashion for the reader to digest and hopefully examine for themselves.

When you begin a letter with insults, you have already shut down the receptive mood of the reader, and anything you say after will come off as hateful/vengeful blather written by an emotional wreck. I admit, I could not even finish your post, such was the level of obnoxiousness in your choice of words. Nor did much of the point you were trying to make stick, it is obscured by your insulting language.

In the future try to be less..... emotional in your topics when addressing the forums and you will see a much more agreeable response from the public.

Sincerely yours,

-Eld

TL;DR- OP writes a topic like a bratty know it all 13 year old that slept through his grade school writing classes, something somthing Singapore filters the net something something with numerous insults thrown in for huehue, and I disregard the topic out of hand, much like most readers including the development team surely will.
