For example:
Red team:
Tier 1: 0
Tier 2: 4
Tier 3: 1
Tier 4: 7
Blue team:
Tier 1: 2
Tier 2: 2
Tier 3: 4
Tier 4: 4
With the current rules, we won't know anything about our opposition, except that a confirmed Tier 1 in the match means there weren't any Tier 5 players. It would be nice to have more information than that.
I think something like this is probably the best option, and is what I was going to suggest (or what the average match PSR is). That was players can know if they are playing in the upper or lower half of games, and will give players that need more information to have a "goal to reach", something to work for while not giving elitists ammunition to ostracize others with.
In terms of displaying individual ratings, the biggest question in my mind is this: How will it enhance the game for the majority of players? It literally adds next to nothing, and the potential for abuse is definitely there (whether likely or unlikely).
Therefore, despite a personal interest in knowing my own score, and not actually being that worried if others can see mine personally - I suspect I am somewhere around T4 - I feel the PSR scores of each individual should be hidden, even from them.
TL;DR - There is just not enough benefit and too much potential for abuse. Display match aggregates instead.
