Why would you want to deprive other people of seeing their own tier? What is the rational reason for not wanting that?

And I don't think the people who voted full disclosure would care if it was labeled e-peen meter, I know I wouldn't, I would probably a chuckle a little though.

No, Gun Shy is not insulting. Gun Shy is however bias as it comes with it all the timid and weak connotations. Full Disclosure has confidence and strength connotations. The poll does have a bias and it's pretty clear.

So since the PSR... my games have been utterly terrible.
Sure I welcome the PSR, sure I'm happy to play Vs top players, I think I'm lvl 2.... but with 300 ping... its now become... your playing Vs top players of equality, but with bad ping.

my games have been nothing but frustratingly woeful, 100 damage and 2 assists....

"get gud" you might say, I dare anyone in my lvl to Vs me over a LAN, but sadly this wont happen.

BAD ping , good(sweet spot) ping, should be factored into PSR..!

Meaning I didn't even think "oh gee, if I vote option 3 it has weak connotations, I better not vote for that". I looked right over that and voted for what I agreed most with. Quibbling over "Gun shy" having weak connotations is a waste of time. If that hurts someones feelings or sways their opinion, then that is odd to me.

In the end though, as long as there's no ranked queue, opt-in is better. If there is a ranked queue, the ranked stuff should be public.

it's biased not because it insults somebody but because it basically tells people 'if you choose #3 you are weak'... so less people choose #3

Again, I don't really care one way or another. But a poll is easily influence by a bias wording. It's easy to get the results you want by careful wording. Have you ever watched Fox News ? I was pointing it out more for the sake of PGI than anyone else.

People are being too paranoid about what you can do with it. That's not what the poll is for. The poll is for the option to view it in some way, regardless of what people are gonna do or say about it.

Personally i welcome the freedom of choice here. So if i dont want it to display publicly i'll disable it and if i do want it to show than i'll enable it. Simple as that.

People will do and say stupid dumb **** regardless of the display status regarding tiers

No, actually I'm pretty smart, but that isn't really relevant here.

There is literally no downside to the second option, that is why more people are choosing that, not because Paul's poll is telling them that they are weak if they choose option 3. Like I said, I did not once feel like picking option 3 made me weak, I just don't agree that people who don't want to share their own stats should not dictate whether or not others get to share theirs.
