I'm hoping for the Harebrained Schemes Battletech to have them though.
The Scorpion (despite its flaws) was always my favorite mech in BT.

More seriously though, I think there was not much comment on the loyalty mech changes because they were too subtle. I thought they were only camo changes until they mentioned the geometry changes in the vlog. Something that substantially changes the outline of the mech would be a lot more noticable. Hitboxes remain the same of course.

I was thinking along the lines of putting Roman-style eagles or banners at the shoulder of a mech, or a Japanese style sahimono behind the shoulders. Basically ornaments that just attach to one point of a mech's geometry and doesn't need any massaging to fit onto multiple mechs (don't really know 3d modeling, but I assume that making custom geometry for all the mechs is a time consuming process). That way it changes the outline of the mech and is distinctive.

Well, I don't know if I want to see too many American bald eagles or Russian bears sculpted on our mechs. But... those monster truck style exhaust pipes in chrome are actually pretty cool. I could see something like that on a Solaris mech, for sure.
