Its instinct and reflex more than it is anything, same reason they train cops and soldiers to aim for center mass and not headshots unless that is all that presents itself.

Its just reflex to aim at the center of mass on a target, you have to train yourself to aim elsewhere and it doesn't always come naturally.

You can't just aim straight at the legs anyway, you have to go for a hipshot because their legs are swinging all over the place while they're on the run.

I don't even bother nowadays. It was the same with 3l, spidy, clan release (well, it's actually still pretty much the same with clams), ds or any other op mechs. There were always a lot of people that had them and told everybody that they can't aim or worse pilots etc. I just dealt with the idea that pgi needs money and there will always be mechs like that (especially in new packs).

i have gotten a mach in my locust 1E with 8 kills and one with 1000+ damage, i doubt i am tier 1... (maby 2 ) ...

well, people who are told to aim better it's those who complain about hitboxes not registering the damage
crow hitboxes register the damage perfectly well and for ach we still don't have a single proof that its hitboxes don't register it too

Cheetahs ... how I love to kill them!! They are quick yes ... they are hard to hit yes ... but not invincible, combination of LRM, ballistics and SRM/Streaks they drop in seconds!! Maybe you need to tell the "team" your with to lock them up? focus NARC and TAG on them? maybe get one of your ECM teammates to go to Counter? or do as I do and bring a Beagle? Once you can see them and target them just smash the legs one then the other ... usually find the one your aiming for the other drops off! especially with AC/5's in the arms! (Zeus or Highlander)
Personally they provide a challenge which you need to adapt game style and mech builds for ... get a CAT0X with ECM and 2 large pulse ... those Cheetahs don't last long!! especially with an AC/10 on board! I also run a Jenner with 2 Streak's and 4 med lasers with Beagle, great for chasing them down, and once they are visible get the team to LRM them some!! the LRM's always seem to hit the legs especially if you can TAG them!

I think it is, I just think most people who complain about lights simply aren't skilled enough to reliably do it. No top flight player complains about "OP lights." They're more likely to laugh when the phrase is uttered because they know how to combat them and have the physical skill to do it efficiently. That's the disconnect: In top level play, lights need help, but lots of average and below players think they're OP.

I have provided enough videos about the ACH for you to decide. Heck in my latest breakdown i wrote a long post about it.

It's not the mech itself what makes OP. Its a combination of things what people defilé it as OP.

It's funny that you say it because there's literally zero feedback on it except for a few guys. People should post more videos and analyse their actions.
