I care that this forum is a hot mess of entitled, middle aged men with a tenuous grasp on reality. Mostly because it makes it difficult to post things about robots without pressing some ****** pressing the threadnaught button.

Yeah I think the 90 days part is a flat out lie. Its like "The model will be ready in two weeks!" . Of course it wont. But to them, in the corporate meeting mindset, its on the board, so its planned, so its "in the works".

And if you have a product that is failing or wont be ready or whatever, do you tell people that or not?

Thats the problem really. Its not just PGI. Its the entire mindset. The answer is almost undoubtedly no, you dont tell people, you infact do the complete opposite, you make unrealistic claims and protect the whale. Another day in buisiness is another day in business. Survival is the main point of interest.

When faced with annihilation, any living thing will go to extreme measures to defend itself. The corporate entity is no different.

Theyd be remiss for NOT defending themselves in this way.

Its wrong, but it is the way that it is.

I dont think they hate you, or are lying to you because theyre jerks. Theyre fibbing, and making unrealistic claims, and shoving you mech packs, to survive.

Man, I really shouldn't be getting so upset over what names this guy decides to call me on the interwebs. Great trollan job, intentional or otherwise. He who mads first loses. People dissing on my buddy's - hell, my whole unit's - hard work is a sore spot for me. I lose this round.

Seems like the perfect thread for it, though. It's like a neat little microcosm of everything that's wrong with this forum community.
