I suspect it should, but it's safer to have "a long enough" contract that avoids this.

It used to. Then PGI said NO.

And CW died, because we cannot provoke fights with a single 12-man anymore. You MUST have 2. You must also have 3 hours.

Give us back the Ghost Drops, you ******* rejects.

First off the Legion is a Mercenary group and always has been, I would say we have a large number of pilots who are "friendly" towards Davion but in true Mercenary style we go where the fighting is. As you well know I even tried to rally some Liao players to have a go at Davion over the last two weekends, not sure where the 'Loyalists' were but it sure was lonely.

Second I ain't mad son, your compatriot named us in his rant. You may want to read what I responded to.

My mistake. And, I believe he had certain other units in mind. You know, our fellow "loyalists".

We do not consider PL to be Liao, and I like you a lot better now that I know you're not full-on DavRats.

I'll cane Weapon X this evening to make up for it.

I do wish you and your unit the best - you will probably be the only ones fighting.

Ghost drops do count.

You will still be eligible for receiving rewards if your contract ends before the deadline, just so long as you:
a ) attained one victory on the contested planet during the Initiative while contracted with the required Faction
b ) that Faction gained control of the planet at any point during the Initiative

soooo technically it is possible for some of those bouncy bouncy merc units to get the required planet taken (with the 1 win included) and then switch to the next house and try for the rewards from the second house?

As it is a short timed event it would be hard but some may try for it.

Just my opinion but for future short events like this maybe consider a lock down on switching for the day. Or 1 prize per player only. Right now I would say let people try for it.


Alex may want to add some of the facts to the bottom of the main initiative post for peoples.

i wont apologise for my remark, my opinion still stands on the Majority of the Liao community and yes as far as from what i have seen PL sucks .... but, best of luck to you. Enjoy those ghost drops.

Combines planets meaning something (at least temporarily) with restricting attack lanes to concentrate people into a smaller number of queues (also temporarily). This harkens back to some of Kin3ticX's ideas for improving the current state of affairs in CW. Clearly a cobbled together test run, but better than nothing. Hopefully they get enough intel out of the event to do more of this kind of thing and more frequently going forward.

By all the gods of fantastic hair, I have to say the Liao forums are the most entertaining. Keep it up; I haven't had to fuel my 'mechs with anything other than vitriol and anger all year.

To be fair I wasn't looking for an apology, it's your opinion and you're entitled to it but again where was your Unit when Clan Wolf was pushing into House Liao over the past couple of months?

Unfortunately the evidence points to either a lack of defence or a lack of performance, so calling other Units names and questioning their abilities is a little hypocritical. However I thank you for your wishes of good fortune and return the sentiment, hopefully we can get the flag of Liao flying over Sarna and keep it there (at least until Friday ).

It was sarcasm; he liked (as he always does) his own post, which I liked because it was obviously sarcastic in tone since no-one loves ghost drops.
