Buying now is an impulse buy, buying Sept. 8th will be harder as the flaws of the design will be known. And I expect it to have flaws, an assualt mech with so many ballistic hardpoints...

In truth so long as the mech has sufficient armor and hit boxes then it should do well in solo matches ... it might become a meta CW mech but I doubt it will be a comp mech ... maybe a replacement for the Highlander because the Highlander still has hover jets but that might be it.

I'm prepairing for 6 Ac 2's on my dakka mauler...
It's mainly because of MW: O Alex Heights mauler which had 6 IS UAC 2's but still... depending how XL friendly this thing is I may trade it for a XL engine and 2 UAC 5's and 4 AC 2's... oh mumma, the dakka...

Penta AC5 (40 tons of guns, 8 tons of ammo, STD300. Short on ammo though)
Twin Gauss + 6xML
2xGauss, 4xMG, ERPPC (so it gets super high gauss pushed up by the MGs, and then strip one arm and put an ERPPC in the other. not sure if ill bring ammo for the MGs, maybe 1/2 a ton)

Listen, the only thing i care about that is this: IT won't be a Micro-jerk dumb down Green Boxes, Yellow Boxes and red boxes BS like MW 4 was. That's all I care about! Great job, PGI.

true to a degree. but who didn't say that when you remove those boxes you get the top of the shoulders with no cameo instead? I seriously doubt PGI would leave those missile boxes up there without any missile weapons on- if they did then I will expect a huge armour/ structure quirk to the ST's that it would actually be a waste of time to shoot at the ST and would be simpler to fire at the legs or CT.

Yeah - fun mech.
And I hadn't seen that Mercenaries thing. Pretty cool: maybe Harmony Gold is realizing there's profit to be made if they're careful in contract wording.
