70 degree torso twist range

Are you kidding me?? WHY????

As if we weren't going to be lethargic enough with a 325 engine limit.

70 degrees is ridiculous. First the executioner, now the mauler has been gimped this way.

the reason being is that not enough players "purchased" the packaged deal...therefore why make the mech any good? For instance...the Artic chet...is being nerf because TOO many players are PLAYING that mech...PGI already has reap the $ from the purchase, and to satisfy those customers that did not purchase that package, well now you know. This game is simple...buy till those that did not, and they start to cry !!!...look at the past...Battlemaster lrm boat is no longer a LRM boat, quirks are gone...those that did not purchased cried...(yeah, we know, the quirks made it op, even the thunderbolt quirks...we know, erppc to fight the clans.??) Even with an additional 20 tons per drop deck, Davions could not take a planet? hmmmm, so let the "crying" begin for those that did not "purchase"...bottom line, just wait, something new will come along, a quirk, or de quirk! LOL!!!

Quirks or not, 70 degree torso twist range is not enough in my opinion, arms are huge but torso speed is slow cause the 325 engine limit.
This data tell me torso twist and arm shield are not very user friendly in this mech, we'll see tomorrow.

Wow the quirks blow. Like really blow. Really really blow. I was hoping for higher percentages with ballistics at least. And lasers....c'mon PGI. There needs to be a reason to pilot this mech.

I love it. My only worry is the vertical 20% up down torso range.

Think, Ember. or grasshopper. The torso weapons are difficult to use against any kind of terrain hieght change. The other two though, they have JJ. Mauler, well, i don't think anyone can safely skip arm hardpoints with this, there will be too many ways to get the drop on a Mauler using terrain.

I have been running the "all torso" Grasshopper all night. IMPOSSIBLE to shoot a UAV down, I was on Alpine and I couldnt shoot back against enemy on the ridge tops(not on mountain) because of 20% torso range.

I find it sort of an oversight, when a mech like this has so much power put into torso hardpoints(or at least it could) to limit it's ability to torso up/down.

otherwise, I am already set with numerous loadouts to try, and anxiously await.

First fail detected. Gj PGI twist max angle is horrible. Quirks unreasonable. I will stay patient for now hope you fix this and broke you long balance fail line. Well if you not... A really grim future awats your project. Just hoping that don't feel like i htrowed my money for nothing. Regards.

I'm a big fan of the Mauler but with this list of quirks, it gave me right to no buy the package.

All Mechs should have a 90 degrees ( 180 in total ) torso twist as standard and quirks for torso twist should add 5 to 20%

Many players skip the Battlemaster just because of the lousy torso twist.

Some solid Quirks right from the start !
Thats great for the Mauler owners.

I bought the Zeus some months ago and I'm still waiting for some reasonable quirks - but nothing happend so far.
So its a pure "Game-of-Luck" when you buy Mech packs in advance.

You can get some good one, or you can get the Resistance Pack 1.

Oh boohhoo hoo cry me a freaking river! The mech hasn't even be released yet and people are already crying about the Mauler. Now me, I'll cry when I've played a few hours in my brand new spanking Maulers! :D

Plus I knew what I was getting into when buying the pack. Buying mechpacks is always a roulette. You never know what drunk monkey is thinking up the quirks ;)

The Zeus's quirks run well with me and other's, maybe a few more weapon orientated buffs, but even then it's a venerable assault, it matches the armor of a Banshee, whilst being a fraction of the size.
