Otherwise, love the square arms and lessened rear torso overhang on the C model. C cockpit is a good compromise: as much as I loved the old "evil eye" cockpit, the reality is that visibility would be too negatively impacted, as on the D model. However, I feel the "MWO Original" is showing too much glass for a single-seater.

But I'll take A.

There are plenty of mechs whose designs don't mesh up properly with their mechanical paper dolls. The Yeoman's arms for example.

I think it looks cool and I'm not about to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Keep in mind that PGI does need to keep the designs distinct enough from the Original to avoid law suits.
Various Reference Materials:
Suggested Design Changes:
A: Original
B: Straitened arms (Tennex) + Reduced Size of ST Exhaust (FireBlood)
C: "" "" + Pauldrons Removed(Tennex) + Cockpit redesign (zagibu)
D: "" "" + Pauldrons Removed(Tennex) + Cockpit redesign (FireBlood)
Targets for Design modifications:
If there are other design suggestions or mockups please feel free to post them
I like D the best. It needs to be a bit narrower.
Non of them look like the original really, proportions are all different and this a unique design.
If these are different cars then this is a different mech.
If you think about it the Marauder is not a original design anyway. It's like you put arms and legs on a Cobra helichopter and clipped the tail. I wish I knew the Photoshop better I could elaborate. Where the rotor is would be the gun obviously.

Yes the LL does show as installed in CT but the Crit table shows it in the right torso.
That record sheet is also wrong, as the MAD-3R does not carry a Large Laser.
The weapon load of the MAD-3R is twinned PPCs (one mounted in each arm), twinned Medium Lasers (one mounted in each arm), and one AC/5 (specifically, a 120mm GM Whirlwind that fires in three-round bursts) mounted in the right-torso.

The cockpits with smaller windows instead of a full canopy look great, but in game will limit greatly your field of vision, similar to the shadow hawk cockpit.

Read more careful,er.
- MAD-3D The 3D Marauder is a modification of the 'Mech that removes its ammunition dependency. In order to do this, the 3D removes the Autocannon/5 and replaces it with a Large Laser. The saved weight is used to add four heat sinks to the 'Mech to handle the added heat burden from the Large Laser.[12] BV (1.0) = 1,136,[13] BV (2.0) = 1,470[14][15]
