There are other things you should think about besides just external aesthetics if you are going to suggest PGI redesign a mech to your specifications.
*edit* PGI can't just use that design for custom geometry without also redesigning the inside of the cockpit to reflect the limited visibility that small cockpit window would have.
Listen to the Town hall about this. PGI contends that anything they make is unique to PGI. Proportions, design and function are all different the HG licenced creation. Besides the window in the front doesn't match the HG licenced design it matches the Battletech design. the HG one had a eye in the front like an amphibian.

If you see the propotions of the MWO mech are completely different.
Think about this people.
The outside and inside don't have to match! Doing it this way or infering it's done this way it free's up PGI to make many more designs or make current cockpits fit INSIDE the mech ... Commando...
