Do Not Panic if you don't see the 'Mech portrait of the ebon jaguar! Just look for what does "not belong" under Clan Heavies when selecting 'Mechs.

Absolutely. It can run a large variety of absolutely devastating builds, from Double Gauss to Triple UAC/5 Dakka to standard C-LGpls+CERMlas laser vomit, and everything in between. It is a better ballistic boat than the Timber Wolf, and actually has more free tonnage(28.5 tons free on EBJ w/max armor, 27.5 on the TBR w/same). High mounts, good speed, low profile.

And (for now) it has no quirks, which relative to the Timber means no negative quirks. Subject to massive change obviously with the balance pass. The 3E left torso (with two high mounts and one in the chin) for example could get hit hard. It's basically the equivalent to the TBR-A torso if I remember my variants correctly, and it increases the hill humping ability of the Jag pretty rapidly.

MC cost is calculated using the C-bill price. Prime variant has ECM and whatnot included, raising the C-bill price and the MC accordingly.

I personally consider an EBJ more dangerous than a TBR, and tend to focus on them, if for no other reason than the TBR is the "meta king" and that means TBR pilots are generally (though not always) inferior to a good EBJ pilot. Plus, EBJs can mount dangerous amounts of ballistic firepower for their size. Add to that the fact that they don't have quite as much armor as a TBR, and you have a good target.
