I have paid into exaclty 0 kickstarter campaigns ever because I don't like the idea of paying for promises

I will make a single exception here though B)

Also, they did a great job with the Shadowrun game so I have full faith in this project

I've only ever made two exceptions. MWO Founders program and Ctrl-Alt-Delete's 10 year anniversary collection. This one I will literally be throwing my wallet at the screen, screaming at them to take my money.

So that is clearly a King Crab, MWO style, and also the biggest freaking Locust I've ever seen. heh...that is awesome. I did not expect HBS to use Piranha's assets straight up. This should be interesting to see.

What does it for me is the banners on top of the King Crab.

Really adds a nice feel to the whole scene.

Oh yeah I have been waiting for that kickstarter date so I can throw money at them.

Time to set aside some money for them in preparation for the 29th.

Its hard for me to invest into a kickstarter for this. Granted they did Shadow Run Returns - so that gives me hope.

I am almost positive that HBS and PGI are sharing artwork so, any 'mech in the new game that is also in MWO will look like the MWO version. Also, pretty sure that's a Jenner.

I'm also hopeful that when the Kickstarter goes live that they have some video footage of what it will look like. I don't think I have seen anything other than the website with those images.

Has anyone seen anything else on this or will it be dark until the kickstarter is live in twelve days?

I really hope this is the case. That would be just some sweet continuity between the games. Plus PGI has awesome mech designs IMO

Shortly after (like, in less than a day) the game was first announced, Russ tweeted that PGI is sharing its artwork with HBS for "consistency". :)

That is awesome, good on PGI for sharing. Even more reason to throw some $$ at this

It was within an hour or two at most haha. People were furiously tweeting him about HBS stealing their Atlas look I'm sure.

Those weapon barrels are too big for that Locust. That's likely where any confusion is coming from.
