I have paid into exaclty 0 kickstarter campaigns ever because I don't like the idea of paying for promises

I will make a single exception here though B)

Also, they did a great job with the Shadowrun game so I have full faith in this project

I have paid into about 30 KS's so far (shovel knight, G07 gaming, Faust, Epic Card game, Xia, Strike Suit Zero, etc) . Usually less than 6 months late, usually very happy with the results. If you are selective is a great way to bring new and interesting things into reality. Precisely 0 have outright vaporized on me but one or two have taken years more than expected, but they were $5-10 pledges on small gaming companies. If you are willing to take a little risk it is a great program.

I am definitely pledging for this after backing all the HBS Shadowrun campaigns.

I paid into MechWarrior Tactics. Lost my money. I'll wait for completed games from now on.

Well.....there is a huge difference between IGP and Kickstarter.

Now THAT is a mofo King Crab!

Too tall, though. I has a sad that they're carrying on with PGI's skewed perspective. Mechs aren't supposed to be 10 stories tall... the biggest are 10 meters tall. Since those tanks are 3-4 meters tall, the Mechs are way out of scale.

Impressive and awesome, but out of scale.

I really hope the standard backing packages aren't insanely priced.

I personally haven't been burned by kickstarter before and I certainly hope that this game goes far. The company has done a few games already so that is a good sign that they won't screw everyone out of our money.

Expect it will be inline with previous HBS KS campaigns, something like $15-20 for the base game.

I'm still holding my fingers crossed for Quadrupeds to be included.

Hopefully at least as a stretch-goal and hopefully, if it is a stretch-goal, we shall reach it.

Yeah, Biiiiiiig difference between Tactics and this Kickstarter. HBS has successfully delivered three amazing games already, I wouldn't be so concerned here. Especialyl since it's got Weisman working on it too!

I need more info before I will drop any cash like when they are planning to go closed Beta. Not buying anymore from PGI for several reasons so If it seems like it won't drag out I may just do it. This twitch/high TTK nightmare PGI has created has lost me most likely for good.

Shortly after (like, in less than a day) the game was first announced, Russ tweeted that PGI is sharing its artwork with HBS for "consistency". :)

Since when does battletech artwork have consistency?

And Harebrained Schemes has been putting out some quality content lately. Shadowrun is really well-made and a lot of fun.
