The RNG is what ruins this event for me. From Saturday I've had everything done tier 2 except viridian... spent 8 hours playing on Sunday... no luck... spent several hours today... no luck.

I was on ******* canyon network 4 times in a row earlier, but have had VB only twice all day.

It's not for lack of skill (was in top 200 all day saturday, fell to 300 since) or trying that a lot of people are getting screwed out of the prize, just RNG, which is a terrible way to do things.

As a challenge event, I would have expected it to be a test of ability. Instead, it's a map lottery that's neither fair nor fun.

For CW i would like an extension, too often on same maps and up against clans is difficult.
Since there is as good as no battle between houses.


PS: pugs gaes have become sour with allot of meta and clanners.

I give up. Tormaline desert 2 or 3 times in 3 days. I dont know if PGI was trying to get us to play more... but I for one want to play less, if at all... Been investing a lot in this game these past few weeks, and i am begining to regret every penny spent...

I love events but this event highlighted a lot of flaws in the current system and has left a very bad taste.

I've purchased every Mech pack but two Founders and the IIC pack, I've also purchased MC for camo patterns, cockpit items, and GXP conversion. But I have to say now that I've spent my last dollar until some real changes are made. First being the fact that the exploiters of this challenge need to be DQ for the unsportsmanlike play. Second is fixing the Match score so playing conquest as a light capper pays off more than playing a skirmish mode. Third thing I would like to see is some real changes to CW so it is a playable mode.

Things I would love to see but I know I will never see;
Hardcore mode - more C-bill reward less XP
Weekly Top Tier rewards (camo,cbills,cockpit items) for Mech/Pilot/WeightClass/IS/Clan
Repair and Reload for mechs after fights.
Solaris arena fights 1v1 2v2 4v4 free-for-all

It would have at least been nice to get a consolation prize for reaching minimum score. I have invested in probably hundreds of games over the weekend. I will spend 2 more hours but that´s it. I really would have instead liked to level up my Maulers and establish some decent builds with them. Instead all meta warfare and disconnect jerks.
P.S. I had my occasional disconnects at start of game but always reconnected at around the 14:30 minute mark. My game really crashes either from a direct x issue but never network related.

On the other hand, there seem to be a number of successful gamers. I however hardly reach 300. It was OK when the event started. There are people to reach a 600 score consistently.

Not really trying to name-blame here, but whenever there´s an event brains also disconnect.
