I like it so far. It looks bigger and flatter. I hope that it discourages things like nascar, hill humping and poptarting.

That looks incredible. Even with the pathetic state of the tournament I have to say that PGI is doing an excellent job with the maps.

Wait...just realized that the mech in the one screenshot is getting shot by the dropship...Is this map gonna have dropships overhead shooting at us? Actually...It would be really cool to have dropships do strafing runs over the battlefield periodically.

Lovely the sulfur springs are no longer a giant kill zone. Should mean more than just over extended, retreating lights fight from down there now.

Looks way too much like sulferous rifts.

With the little amount of tile sets they have in game, u'd think they would try to optimize diversity by making their maps look slightly different

Most of my best matches on Caustic were when our team stopped and waited for the enemy team to come charging around the corner into our alpha strikes. I'm unable to see how the Nascar meta got started and why it is still used.

it would be decidedly not cool to have invincible dropships that always hit you in the CT with 7 er large lasers flying over the battlefield

That looks freaking joyous.

More than anything, i'm glad that that green soup tint has gone from the sky. I often had to squint to see my bloody crosshairs, let alone an enemy mech.

Maybe just aerospace fighters then? Maybe soontm people will be able to buy aerospace fighters. Then when you hit the search button it looks for a game where an airstrike just got dropped. Then you preform the flyover. Priority airstrikes look for people with better ping :)
