Cowardice....the New Tier 3 Meta?

He'res what happens kids. The mechs that are too slow (usually your big gun assaults) cannot keep up with you when half the team decides "SCREW YOU GUYS, I'm GOING HOME!!!"
They get left behind and get swarmed....
you lose your primary damage soakers and damage dealers...good start...
then the guys who didn't notice you running leaving trails of coolant behind you die next. Thats usually guys like me, guys who are focusing on doing damage to the mechs moving up into position, not noticing you all are fleeing...
By the time you realize whats going on, you are down 4-5 mechs, including your bigger damage dealers, or mechs too slow to keep up. Once a deathball like that gets momentum going it can and will chase you down and wipe the floor with whats left of your team. Doubly so if there are lots of dakka mixed in with LRMS and ECM...by then its too late to to try to form a firing line, you've lost your big mechs and your slower fire support/lrm mechs and are left to face a wall of pissed off angry and more importantly FRESH assault mechs with your lightweight mediums and heavies that where fast enough to flee originally...Good luck with that.
TL;DR
Stand and fight...the hell are you in a mech for if you arent going to face the enemy?

Our opinions are invalid, I have seen the list.
I am also tier 3, we can 1v1 those who think we are not worthy.... if you think you can take me.
OP how do you know if Tier 3 guys doing these things? You cannot see Tiers in game yet so im am very curious. Why is Tier 3 being painted with a broad brush?

"Oh no the enemy is pushing! Quick, run in the other direction so half of our team can die fighting while we retreat with our tails behind our legs!"
Because that has ALWAYS won...

Mind you this in on Canyon network, red team pushed from opposite side of where red/blue team usually lines up around the big trench to fight against whoever is in the middle.
Pugs were all over the place, too, while I attempted to tell the team the enemies location and to "Pull it together".

some people still try to bring inappropriate, specialized, slow mechs to the roller derby.

Tier 3 was the worst tier I passed through in the last month of starting playing after seven to eight months of not hardly touching this game.

I'm here to fight, not to run.

Mr Blastman is right, mid tier players are gun shy because they are used to getting pummeled if they are in the front or out in the open, so they play ultra conservative, wont push, and try to keep teammates between them and the enemy.
its kind of like a slinky effect, a couple people move over to the right and next thing you know the whole team moves because they are scared to be alone.
lower tier play isn't like that, you can stand in the open, no one focus fires, no one groups up, its a bunch of randoms randomly fighting.
higher tier play is deathblob, push at the same time, focus fire etc.
higher tier players basically come into mid tier games and **** people with aggressive play and people are scared of that.

It should make more sense to you now....Sowwy!
Tier 3 plays with everyone, 5-1 so how are you so sure it tier 3 guys doing this?
You dont...
I was told you can only have games +/- 1 tier in a given match...usually I see guys on teh enmy team saying they are around tier 2 or tier 3. and It shows in thier play style....90% of assaults I shoot at roll damage now instead of having staring contests with my 68 alpha Ebon repteatedly. They dont constantly peek the same corner they keep catching dual gauss rounds to the face at ETC ETC....you know...stuff players do that implies they understand basic game concepts...your average joe players.
Pretty safe to assume the majority of the players im facing and playing with are at least around average skill levels. Since the new mm ive only really seen probably 2 drivers that where just blatantly ******** and probably tier 5 material.
But like I said, This is not about "I'M TIER 3 HEAR ME RAWR!!!" I am just an average joe player. This is more of a question to other tier 3 players or higher/lower to see if thier games are playing out the same, with people seeming to forget the weakest armor is on the rear....

1. move toward the right
2. find a slow enemy, start chasing him
3. slow enemy can't turn around and stand their ground, because his friendlies are all chasing YOUR team's slows
4. slow enemy has no option but to run and die from backshots
5. team blames slow for being slow

It's just how PUGs play.
Also, something else to consider is that all new accounts start on the edge of T4 and can make it into T3 with just one or two lucky matches. So T3 is still chock full of inexperienced players.
Not sure why new players aren't starting at the bottom...but pretty sure that's the culprit. So basically T3-5, you're going to have noobs running around with you.

That argument really cant float...because if im in an assault mech, to the best of my mechs abilities I'll get out front and tank as much damage as safely possible and get my guns working...just dont freaking b!tch out on me when the enemy team responds by doing the appropriate thing and moving TOWARDS my ass....
