I went all House Scion, so now I begin the self debate Davion or Kurita, Davion or Kurita, hmmm.....

3025 is before the Clan invasion. Will there be Clans in the game?


There are no Clan ‘Mechs in the game yet but the BattleTech universe spans hundreds of years and in success, we plan to include them in later installments.

And yet, somehow I doubt the game will be filled with people using damaged mechs even if there is R&R. The only way R&R means anything is if it prevents the player from making Cbills. This means players will be prevented from repairing or purchasing new mechs- and this is just another game about collecting a large stable of mechs. They will not make a game where (supposedly) expensive and powerful mechs, such as assault mechs, will be a bad investment because they will be out of service frequently.

And they never mentioned anything about planetary conquest, only Solaris type multiplayer, stand-alone 'skirmish' matches, and a single player campaign that would end up with every player in the game 'owning' the exact same planets.

Using damaged 'mechs could still add penalties or leave you in debt/deduct from your pay if you get an advanced to fix them before a mission.

If this game got a great singleplayer then im happy. I hope you can exclude DLC like clans later.
