It'll probably run on a wide range of machines depending on how they tackle the in game art. If it's more shaded like the concept art than full blown 3D it might make it easier on a lot of comps. Hoping it'll run really smooth.

Yep. Most kickstarters seem to have massive surges at the start and end of the campaign with the middle part being significantly slower.

Yea, it will slow way down. People who are huge fans were waiting for the Kickstater to kick off. Now we have to hope the casual fans will latch onto the game.

I wish Kotaku or IGN etc...would mention it (some popular media outlet). It could use some good publicity as well.

Haven't seen anyone mention the mission rewards near the bottom of the page for sharing the announcements via facebook and twitter! Near the bottom of the kickstarter just above the "praise for our games" section.

Didn't they have a kickstarter mech commander style game a while back, that never went anywhere, and people pledged money? It was right around the time this game was selling founder packages. I thought they were connected, but perhaps not?

I'd love a single player mech commander style game.. But after the last failure i am not as optimistic,

HBS, the company making this game have a proven track record of kickstarting games and then delivering an awesome product. They have made the highly acclaimed Shadowrun trio of games in recent years, and they were kickstarted as well.

Mechwarrior Tactics. That was an IGP game, IGP being the publisher PGI eventually managed to buy themselves out from under a while back.

Harebrained Schemes have nothing whatsoever in any way, shape or form to do with the scum who ran IGP and Battletech has no connection at all to Mechwarrior Tactics. Furthermore HBS have a proven kickstarter trackrecord having already successfully released four games, all of them pretty much very positively received by fans and press alike (Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun: Dragonfall, Shadowrun: Hong Kong and Golem Arcana).

i am actually gonna wait until they hit the 1 million dollar mark before i pledge. I have 0 interest in a TB pvp games as frankly those tend to suck with players using go slow tactics to frustrate their opponents into quitting.

PvP is the 4M stretch goal. The base game is single player.
