I used to be a huge fan of the Front Mission series by Squaresoft/Square Enix. It was a JRPG turn based RPG about large mechs with interchangeable and upgradable parts. It was on a grid system with action points (something probably similar to what BT might be). Being a JRPG the story was quirky, but the battle system was fun.
I may have to go back to a Front Mission game to get in practice lol.

Oh please!
Stinger, Wasp and Phoenix Hawk are "interesting"?
Generic Gundams are dime a dozen, when something like the Quadruped Scorpion is unique and offers something new, that no other mech can offer! They offer completely different gameplay style!
F*ck, i'd trade all the Marauders and Warhammers away, just to have the Scorpion or the Goliath!
I'LL FIGHT YOU!

Not sure if you were trolling asking that.
But I'm pretty sure you could read "MWO. A battletech game" up there, left side, in this page.
so, yea, you are trolling: you seem to play since 09/13 ...
i know nothing about that

I just don't have sufficient "nerdiness" to get the jacket.
Watching the kickstarter, and seeing how well it's done, I think I will forego being a supporter. Plenty of you doing it and I will spend the bucks when the game comes out.

Yeah, but we need people to help achieve the stretch goals and you'd get more stuff now than you will once the game launches, since the backer packs give you extra stuff.

Mechwarrior Tactics. That was an IGP game, IGP being the publisher PGI eventually managed to buy themselves out from under a while back.
Harebrained Schemes have nothing whatsoever in any way, shape or form to do with the scum who ran IGP and Battletech has no connection at all to Mechwarrior Tactics. Furthermore HBS have a proven kickstarter trackrecord having already successfully released four games, all of them pretty much very positively received by fans and press alike (Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun: Dragonfall, Shadowrun: Hong Kong and Golem Arcana).
Ok, thanks for the info....
So would you say they are the "larian Studios" of the battle tech world?

Tanks and Hover Craft first please. Oh and some Infantry too. Thanks.
That's pretty much what HBS said too
But yeah, Combined Warfare is confirmed.
Quads got a "maybe", depending on the Kickstarter's success.
