Don't complain about an open cored back after face hugging an enemy when 6 team mates are shooting at the mech trying to block the shots.
If you are up front don't clog up the firing lanes with your TBRs wide ass if there is more than 1 mech behind you that could also put shots in.
Please stand on the outside and behind at a 45degree angle of peekers or when creating a line. A straight line or collum is much worse than something like this

Chances are he has zero clue as to where you need to be.
2. Don't be selfish with that ECM cover the main body then go snipe.
3. If you have ECM learn to counter theirs.
4. Stop the damn noob firing, test the weapons in the testing grounds before the match.
5. Light Mechs got you down?
Shoot the damn legs, and if the sucka is jumping all over the place wait til he lands you have about a second.
Before he starts to move.
6. Before you run that shiny new mech go to the training grounds and learn it's capabilities.
7. If somebody has a plan listen it might just be worth it.
8. If you are a LRM boater like myself stay with the brawling pocket for protection.
Firing LRM's at 900 meters only allows a longer flight time and a chance for everybody's AMS to shoot them down.
9. Be a team player.
10. And last but not least don't be the damn primary target - "DON'T BE THE NOOB."
11. Press "R"
12. If you have to retreat, do NOT backup in a straight line with front facing enemy.
13. Never leave your Lance/Team
14. If you do not like ECM, equip BAP.
15. For the best way to enjoy MWO, join a Unit/static Group!!!

2. Never cross behind a friendly Mech because you'll block them.
3. Never stand still because you'll lose the initiative and get killboxed.
4. Never floor the throttle because NASCAR is bad and you'll just wipe your own Assaults.
5. Never push into a firing line because you'll just get obliterated.
6. Never stay in the back when your allies push into a firing line because that makes you a coward who tanked the game.
7. Never wobble while trading because you'll screw with your teammates' firing lines.
8. Never stand still while trading because you'll make yourself a much easier target.
9. Never, ever listen to gameplay (not build) advice handed out on the forums or in-game because chances are no one else has a damn clue what the hell they're doing.
10. Carry harder, scrub. Everything is situational.

1.
when a team mate says REGROUP QUICK REGROUP;
don't be the guy who asks; where? coords?
if there are no coords dictated, that means the mechs up front should hold up or walk back a bit; and the mechs sniping on the back should come a bit forward; so the team is more compact.
2.
when you have no targetting info and you shoot a non light, don't go for legs; maybe their ct is cherry red and you don't get the kill because you went for legs on a thunderbolt.......... completely wasting your shot. if no info and no light - shoot center of mass or the gun side

And the Nascar ppl can turn around and say oh.... we need to push and flank em....oh 5 of us are already dead....WTF. grow brains. All you Nascar ppl. Seriously.
STOP. LOOK. RETURN FIRE. REGROUP. FLANK. PUSH KILL.
This is for the poor assault pilots who get LEFT on caustic valley ALMOST ALL THE TIME.
/RAGE RANT......off.

2. Always follow and support your assaults. Don't stand in front of them or behind them. Stand next to them.
3. If you're an ecm light, don't run thousands of meters away from the team. Again, stick with the assaults and provide them the ecm cover that they need.
4. Finally, if you're in an ecm mech and you see an enemy mech close to you with ecm, press the J key to counter it.

Stop chasing your own lights, i can't stress that enough. They are not leading a charge or a nascar. You call a grid? fine, make sure everyone understands but leave the fkin light to do their things. You dont need them hovering around you, they are fast and can come back when needed.
Stop side capping in anything else than a light. So your scr moves at 106... i dont care go shoot something.
That is all true but when the fast Lights, who are supposed to Cap, at least at Match start, Don't. Then **** it, I will cap (then shoot stuff) in an Assault Mech ffs, if it will win the Match...
If other players) want the Heavies and Fatties to just fight, then the Mediums and Lights should be looking after the Caps (and or Bases)... but then there is PUG time...

It is NOT against the TOS to shoot down enemy UAVs..in fact, you get a little reward for doing so....

FORGET 3!!!
It you are in a ECM llight go recon the enemy, attack from behind then reposition and repeat. Divide the attention of the enemy team and disrupt thier firing lines. A light between the "fat boys" is a waste of speed.

1. Always bring a UAV, and never walk single file.
2. Always bring an arti or air strike, and never walk single file.
3. Always look for enemy UAV's, KILL THEM, or at least let everyone know when you see one and where, and never walk single file.
4. ALWAYS target (PRESS R) what you're shooting at, and never walk single file.
5. Aim for the head. Unless... (see rule 6...), and never walk single file.
6. ...the head is fresh but there's a big bright red crit location to hit, shoot the crit location, and never walk single file.
7. We're not 'Sand People', we don't need to walk 'single file' to hide our numbers, NEVER walk single file.
8. If you see shots repeatedly hitting a team member in the ass, spare a glance backwards, make sure it's not an enemy, and never walk single file.
9. If you're going to cross a field of fire, make sure to cross BEHIND friendly 'mechs, and never walk single file.
10. Call targets, announce the letter, location, and any open crit locations (ie: Target Alpha in C3, open CT), and never walk single file.
11. Never be a 'good loser', being a good loser is like being a 'good' masturbator. Neither are something you want to be proud of or do in public, and never walk single file.

The moment I get a damage readout I will probably switch to target something else even though I am continuing to shoot that mech. Especially if there is any sort of hole in it like open CTs or leg. No need to see the paperdoll when I can see it being shot.
