You are basically saying, "screw your score Mister, go chasing one mech in the game and sacrifice your score so i can get mine. The sad truth is that you don't get nearly rewarded enough for cover other peoples asses and chasing after the light spotter.

I don't mind doing it but if that was all I I would end up with sub-200 damage and a match score of about 150 while you would likely triple that.

So when the guy spots someone behind you, it would behoove some of you to take a moment, drop into cover and maybe give him a bit of a hand and maybe sacrifice some of YOUR points to help the team.

Note I said, "That they need". If an assault doesn't need ecm, then feel free to scout, target,etc. For example, if the assaults got a horrible spawn at caustic valley, they would need ECM.

As said above a single light can sometimes draw a whole lance back to thier base by just "tapping" it. Sit on enemy base, seismic helps here, wait for "Betty" to say "enemy base is being captured " 2 times then run like hell.

I totally agree with you. However, when assaults NEED it , you should provide it for them and not just watch them die by LRM's or the horrible spawns. When you lose your primary source of firepower and armor, chances of winning are much slimmer.

Assault pilots: keep your finger on the W key as the start of the match counts down. If you don't start moving on the very first second it's your fault if you get left behind. Competent teammates will wait for you but NOT if you're standing still.

Given, but if im gonna provide ECM to the Assaults im gonna do it in either my Hellbringer or Shadowcat, this lets me stand the line a bit longer than in my short range speed deamon
