If it's the cover, then that's good map design. All that cover-less maps did was make LRMs and long-range meta king. If it's the distance, then yeah, that's bad gamemode design.

3 Matches so far in PUG.

3 straight times team decides to nascar and leave assaults behind to get railed on.

This time its only worse for assaults since there is more obstacles for everybody else to poptart behind, lol.

Looks great, like the new design aspects of it. Hopefully my luck will change and people won't be nascaring all the time!

secondly, which ****** put so many rocks in new caustic ? its nearly imposbile to even walk on it with assaults. And im saying this as bog lover. BOG is piece of cake with comparsion with this ****.
thirdly, PGI, your employees has something with eyes ? Or why all recreated maps, are nearly in night ? This one is worst from all night maps, none of all 3 vision makes it clear.

god, give me my old snow colony back, and if now, then deploy me 50% on caynon network. thank you.

why should it? it's the best part of that map to suddenly appear over a ridge, to unload 60 alpha and to disappear, and if they nerfed it in any way i will be pissed

Its sad they didnt really change the map in bones just skin, i should say they sulfurize our caustic map ...

I mean caustic is/was one of the best map ever in MWO...

Instead putting efforts for build a total new map they just mod one of theirs best maps, like they did with river city and forest colony.
In my opinion thoses 3 remixed maps aren't better or worst its just 3 maps.
PGI put lots of ressource to rebuild 3 old goods map and at last what we got now? 3 maps in thoses environnements ...
3 maps like we had 3 year ago ... when we should/could have 6 ( 3 olds + 3 news ).

My Banshee didn't have problems walking around the map but then again that game was atypical since both teams set up on either side of a ridge and tried coordinated pushes, baits and or flanking.

OMG, Doing 150 KPH and I got stoped cold turkey to a pebble that I could not see and got destroyed because of it.

When the hell is PGI going to learn to do something right for once'?

Nothing will get rid of hill humping except for the entire removal of hills.


I know, it's so sad. People actually have the audacity to use cover in a shooting game!!




All kidding aside, if there were no hills to hump - good god the endless tears would be so delicious as weak teams would just get wrecked from long range firing lines.

I just want a map that does not require Thermal vision at some point.

Visibility seems to drop every time they touch a map. Hate it. Every single map doesn't have to be some 70's sci-fi painting.

However I wouldn't say it's PGI's fault. The map is nice. It's the people's stupidity (as usual) that is the problem.
You can't design a map that is totally fool-prove and tactically thrilling at the same time.

I don't know man, I'm getting 800 match score on my Battlemaster. I honestly don't notice a difference between it and the original.

One day PGI will make a map with clear visibility. I hate the fog and film grain effects.

Have to agree with the OP.

Nice to see some new colors, but honestly it just looks like God barfed and blew chunks all over the old map.

Also, it's completely full of unpredictable snags, impassable spots, and crud that you get hung up on. JJ's should be mandatory on this map now.

At least in the first half dozen times I played the map, which admittedly people are getting used to, they simply replaced nascar with peek and shoot across the caldera because it's too damned hard to navigate anywhere.

Have to say that it's the POOREST remake of a map by a long shot.
