The problem is that tech isn't balanced - you have is variants quirked to viability and a handful of Clan mechs that are great and it's a passable balance.

You literally had 4-5 tier 1 pilots telling you straight to your face in another thread a day or 2 ago that IS mechs are currently stronger than clan mechs.

Yeah, I'd like to be able to drop 2 jump jets. I like the MASC after the buff, though.

Honestly, if you unlocked everything from the Scat, the one thing i would change is to drop the engine to a 255 and at most 1JJ. Class IV JJs are awesome, and worth taking as many as possible, and MASC is now awesome. It just needs PPCs buffing to the point where you dont need quirks to run them (because its quite obviously meant to be a 2xERPPC sniper/sneaker/poptart - its shape and gear scream out for it)

I'm with Sader325. The most powerful mechs have what? Endo, ferro und mostly no locked equipment like Timber Wolf, Stormcrow, Arctic Cheatah or Ebon Jaguar. No one is playing Summoners, Novas, Warhawks or Executioners. Or remove ecm from Hellbringer and really no one would play it. This change would bring so much more mech diversity into the game really.

Dear OP, unfourtuately you are wrong.
According to rules TR3050 shows you that a lot of Omnis have this fixed equiptment except the Hellbringer, Timber Wolf and Kit Fox.

PGI uses lore as an excuse to nerf mechs that do not deserve it, they crippled several mechs to try and nerf the TBR, and guess what. I don't see TBR being played any less.

When was the last time you saw a summoner?
