The Catapults often sit with duel LRM 15's, quad LRM 10's, or penta LRM 5 for there long range umph. approximately "30" total missiles and over.
If you really want to go with an LRM only catapult use the famous 6 x LRM 5 catapult CPLT-A1.
This uses the fire rate of 6 x LRM 5 and it's tight grouping to high devestation. you can fire all 6 on 1 group for chain fire.
or get 2 groups with 3 launchers each, LRM 5 ghsot heats if you fire 4 or more at the same time.
I gave you a ton extra for you to play with, rather reduce ammo or engine for CASE, AMS, etc!.
however a good way to prevent being screwed in close range is using SRM mix LRM for this guy. ie. CPLT-A1, this catapult is much more better at annoying lights but is dependent on ECM neutralisation. a BAP helps with that but if it's 2 guys you got problems. It also makes quick time thinking harder so UAV's may be required. You got a bit less LRM ammo but it is still enough to do at best 900 damage and you still got your quad streaks to do more work.
Another build without streaks is along the lines of this CPLT-A1 right here. It uses SRM 4's instead buy less JJ and no BAP.
Another option is 4 SRM 2's and a few more tons for ammo.
I should mention ammo is not in it's final location and you need to do it yourself more or less to where it's smart, as well as armour location (ie different between rear and front armour).
2 x LRM 10 is rather weak for a 65 ton heavy mech, the 50 ton hunchback does the same and have like 5 lasers. Hell. even the Raven can do the same with mroe lasers and ECM at 35 tons.

On Catapult use LRM 15 and XL 300. Rest is ok.
And on this mech use 6 x LRM 5 or 6 x SRM 6.

The 2 LRM15 and 4 SSRM2 looks pretty good I would just go with a little more LRM ammo, my general rule of thumb for LRM ammo is 1 ton for each set of 5 missiles, LrM 15 would be 3 tons of ammo. Streaks are rather ammo efficient as they wont fire unless locked on so can get away with less ammo.

Do you actually use all 50 salvos of the streaks? If you do, more power to you, but I'd guess you'd benefit more from exchanging half that for LRM ammo.

I've never run out of all ammo on this A1, so it's hard to say. I'm trying to stay close to first lines when I'm on Cats, and I use a lot of streaks. 230-250m is a great range to use both and it's realy a nasty surprise for those lights

Like the other guys, I will suggest a build that might be interesting for you and that it will help out for future battles.
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...4a860c9aa3922c6
A bit of explanation for the build,
Two LRM15 with 900 missiles which gives 30 shots, I think its enough for a match.
Two SRM4 for close quarter defense with 200 missiles, gives 25 shots, note that rate of fire on the SRM4 is faster and still have the shotgun spread effect without being too wide, so that Artemis IV system is not needed unlike the SRM6.
AMS, I did notice that most none humanoid designed Mechs are vulnerable from the top side which makes them good targets for LRMs or fire on them when on an elevated position. To help reduce damage taken and stay in the match longer I added the AMS.
260 Standard Engine, the IS standard engines may be more heavy but more compact. I hate being disabled due to a side torso loss and Im very sure that you as well. Standard engines are cheaper than XL ones plus makes the Mech not as fragile.
I do hope you like the setup I suggested, C ya on the battlefield !

Cats are one of the most XL friendly mechs due to a very small STs. I've been piloting cats for a very long time and I don't remember being destroyed by a ST explosion.
