And now for something actually constructive.

I'd love to see another Double XP weekend, with accompanying Double GXP Conversion. Actually, doing one of those once a month would be a fine idea.

If they tried another Match Score Qualifier event, I have three suggestions. First, put the minimum MS at 200. Second, allow MS rollover (got 400 in a single match? you get two credits). Third, allow MS accumulation (got 150 and then 100? you get a credit).

Not QQing, feel no entitlement to it. Just...bummed. Like I said.

Also, I'm consistent...I don't complain about events. I enjoy them and am always happy to have more and different.

Now that the stars are aligned and we have a week without a frustrating event... just relax man.

It really wouldn't be that ridiculous to have "off weekend" events.

Something super simple like play 20 games get a bonus mil c-bills.
Something to promote the feature they added and only half promoted for a single weekend - LFG.
+50% c-bills
Counter ecm 100 times.
Base capture wins earn double xp on assault.
secondary objective wins earn triple xp in CW.
light mechs earn 200% xp

all sorts of odd little stuff they could do to add a little flavor when there isn't a full event going on, those are just a few.

The lack of events in the last 2 weeks works out for me. My activated PT ran out just as the last event ended, and I'm enjoying the break from the grind - the RNG element of the map challenge got me down...


+1 to the Double XP/Cbills type weekend - useful when there is a bunch of new mechs released
+1 to smaller events that does something a little different would be interesting

It would have been smart to alternate event weekends... to allow people to cool off from the previous event (especially if/when it was bad).

Then again, this is PGI.

It's possible they want to use the weekend time for public testing instead, because part of the reason that the first session didn't last very long was that nobody wanted to be on the public test server with a weekend event on the live servers.

Lack of events is certainly discouraging me to play. I'll probably stick with FarCry 4 this weekend.

i would like to have an event, im in a high t3 and need an additional stimulus to play more mwo over warships, i want t2 :3

i can do with out so many frequent disruptive event. i prefer events that dont drag on for weeks and force everyone to adopt stupid tactics to win. i have a feeling we will get one of those much welcome trick or treat type events near the end of this month. hopefully they dont put the bar up so damn high though (its bad enough i have to fight psr just to do as poorly as i used to).

If they don't want criticism, all they need to do is offer bonus XP or C-bills over the weekend without applying conditions to qualify.

You have a point. However, some of the criticism was well-deserved, The random aspect of one of the last events wasn't great. It could have been easily avoided by adding a "wild-card" map or something like that.
