Looks pretty good.
Though, i'm still not a fan of the cockpit. I don't like it in the concept either.
I much prefer the boxier, clunkier look of the Catalyst's design.

However, that's purely subjective. There's nothing objectively wrong with the model and i can't wait to see how it ends up in the end.

According to instagram, Arman Abounourinejad is the one working on it. (he's also behind the Crab's in-game model, if i recall correctly)

Confracto (the guy behind the awesome Crab and Flea fan-art thread models) is Mark Nicholson.

Nostalgia, feelz, yeah, I get it, but the dorsal AC/5 turret still bothers me to no end. In this case because it is not only obvious shells cannot be feed up through the turret mechanism, but the bore to turret size comparison means it would be tough to store 20 shells in the turret, let alone the quantities most autocannons actually fire in lore!

Back to the PGI Marauder, gonna be good for some quality 'Mech porn. Especially after Lordred and sp00ky get their mitts on them.

Catalyst Marauder looks more like alex's style than alex's own MWO Marauder

yeah, also, do like the boxier feel..more 3025 tech, IMO. Arms pods need bigger, AC, kicked to the side more, but overall, I like it.

If I were a heavy driver I'd want to marry that thing. I kinda want it anyway even though I know it's a foregone conclusion I'll suck eggs in it, just like everything else over 55 tons.

I do like the look of the mech, but I really dislike over sized bubble cockpits Alex for some reason likes these huge bulbous cockpits on his concept art. the cockpit on this concept makes the mech look menacing! Posted Image

I am curious how that high mount ballistic will turn out. It isn't in the concept art. Is it missing because they haven't gotten to it yet? Is it missing because the entire mount is dynamic? How will smaller ballistics (like the broom handle A/C5 & A/C2) look in such a large high mount?

I'm curious to see how they treat that.

Not as good as i would have liked, however this could be redeemed solely by nailing the gracious forward hunched down movement of this slender mech. It should move very diffrently from the kingcrab, more fluid.
