Vulcan, Assassin, Whitworth, Hermes II, Dervish, Ost-mechs, Cyclops and every other i've missed.
Why?
So they'd get included into HBS BATTLETECH!
Also quads

The game doesnt need more mechs! (Right now) it needs more deep and balance to keep players buying more mechs.

So you'd have all the bloody artists in the studio, just sit idly, doing absolutely nothing, while someone, who is responsible for balancing, is messing around?
Different people have different jobs, the artists making mechs don't really influence the balancing guy(s), On the contrary, them making new mechs is probably the main source of income that's keeping the company afloat.
The more mechs the better!

Animators? Put then to review and gix the bad/bugged animations we have
And like a said, focus once for all to give us a solid game, not a minimum viable product, then with a solid base they can focus in new mechs and fluff to make more money. Release this game on steam the way it is right now and people will play for a week and let it go.

Tanks, helicopters, elementals? So you'd rather them waste time on making assets for something that might not even be possible to implement at the time?
New assets for maps? News-flash: People who make mechs and people who make maps aren't the same people.
.
I do agree about the cockpit screens though.

I won't argue with that, i also think they should be going over older 'mechs are fixing them up to the standard, but the problem is that there's not "instant" pay-off for that. If you make mechs, put them in a pack, you get instant cash, but if you spend your time fixing mechs that nobody will use anyway, there's not much you can get from it (apart from the joy from the people who actually like the older, obsoleted mechs)

Well, aren't they doing that already (or at least trying to) with the re-balances, CW mode changes, (i also remember hearing something about assault mode being changed).

DotA is getting balance constant tweaks with nearly every patch, and the patches are frequent.
PGI changes one or two things in a minor or backwards fashion and then lets them sit for more than a year before acknowledging that sh*t is still broken.

Inner Sphere needs their AT-ST Omnimech!
And there I was, thinking that Locust was the coffin on two legs...
To be honest this looks more like a delivery service than battlemech. you put your stuff in the box at the top and the legs carry it to where it is supposed to be. Looks more like tool Walmart would use.

Short answer, No
Long Answer, Not likely. There are lots of Mechs still available and that means plenty more "personal favorites" still out there to be bought.

Besides, what is better than getting a new laser spam mech every week? It is like Christmas 24/7/365!

If you bought the unseen pack - you have no argument to stand on.

If there's no change in sight soon I'll just move on to something else.

PGI should produce other stuff to open other sources of revenue
mechs are becoming more and more like reskins of one another, as there are no sized hardpoints in this game and you can pretty much customize everything on them
so aside for a fuzzy feeling for a mech you loved growing up, why pilot anything than the top mech in each class (depending on current balance issues)
people should look into the feature suggestion threads a bit more I guess
TheArisen has made quite some posts(and some contact with PGI staff already)

and they will be implemented without asking for them
it's PGI's source of money
if there is literally no more mech to sell in this timeline, then low and behold a jump forward

Wo do not need new modes right now, what is needed is a way to incorporate certain modes into a campaign format for taking a planet in CW instead of the reptative Invasion / Counter-Attack. What they did with CW maps where you drop in a certain box on the bar means you drop on a certain map shows they can do the same for modes.

Also, why not subscriptions ? More cash, and a lot of ppl would sign in for premium, discounts and other goodies...
But we cant invest that much money in a minimum viable product anymore...

It's sad and new mech won't fix that. Build a damn game that works PGI. Not buying anything more till you do.
You want a good game then squeeze them.

Give a balanced game (wich is on its way I hope) for the competitive crowd, and they will stay here. Give deep community warfare to lore fans, and they will stay here. Without that, there will be only pokemasters left...

I want a balanced game with lasers, ballistics, missiles, strategy, but I guarantee the competitive crowd doesn't care. Whatever happens to work best they exploit it. It doesn't matter what chassis or weapon it is. And no matter what changes it will always be the same mechs/weapons Vs the same mechs/weapons. Simply put, new mechs bring in the most money. I think they should let 2 man's drop in solo que so I can hold hands with a friend I want to get in the game (grow the dwindling player base) and leave the group drops to an improved cw for the try hard crowd.
