Insta-Expoded By Lpl Boats

Mechs that get hit some times do not see laser flashing or paper doll flashing warnings. They can be moving in a way that should have spread damage yet they seem to have the entire damage value of the LPL shots applied to a single component instantly, resulting in a pin point one shot hit that kills or crits them.
When this starts happening in a game the offending mech is able to do this to multiple people. I was in a game where an IS LPL gauss mauler insta exploded 4 or 5 people, who only registered LPL damage, no gauss damage.
At first I thought the person was cheating, but after seeing this happen multiple times, it seems more like a server side bug with how LPL damage is registered for certain high ping players.
So far, I've seen/experienced this in about % off my matches.

Or, 33 damage in the 2 thirds of a second. They deal their damage fast, second only to the Gauss (and AC20).
They're annoying and devastating, but I haven't seen anything fishy, just pseudo FLD with those burn times (but not quite).

Yeah i know what you are talking about with pseudo FLD, but some of these situation seemed like full on FLD. In at least one game most of the victims didn't even see the LPL flash or paper doll flash before they died.
That game the LPL gauss mauler had 190 ish ping, at least some of the victims had low ping.

They suck up tonnage and their range sucks, but watch out for the thunderwub, it gets LPL quirks that just eat away at you.
The champion is set up nicely as well.

What I have seen I the opposite... The slower Ping Mech seems to have a shield.

Its like those times where you were just hit by an AC20 or Gauss, but only saw the paper doll flash but otherwise nothing else let you know.

It goes both ways. When I play on NA and EU servers, my twisting is useless a lot of the time where I get hit in clean in the CT seconds after I twist a full 90 degrees. I'm guessing I'm still facing my enemy in the other player's screen even if I'm already twisted away in my screen. It's not an issue in the Oceanic server.

Kit Fox has 18 armor on the CT front by default. The IS value is 20 (and rumor has it its far more). The IS LPL does 11 damage *4 = 44 damage. So yea - its POSSIBLE you died in 1 salvo if all of then hit the CT but I have no idea why you were exceptionally frustrated by it.
You took 44 damage to the CT in a 30 ton mech at close range to a 65 ton mech and didn't move while taking the damage...

It's a problem with all weapons, not just LPLs, but it does happen more with shorter burns lasers as there's less time for the game to notice you've been shot.

Have anyone else experienced a situation where during a match a higher ping mechs boating LPLs is able to go around and insta-expoded targeted mechs?

No big happens every once in a while they take the nerf off certain weapons
My 4 LPL TW would make Mechs go pop
One time I spawned late in my Jager and I was blasting the heck out of mechs and people started commenting
I just typed hey they took the nerf off
Seems to happen with an under used weapons
Like if no one uses LB10x then you mount them they will kick butt until the nerf bat hits

I've never had that happen. I hear every shot, and see it on the paper doll. Could be your ping, I have usually 28-30.

It's pretty frequent at my ~20 ping.
The original "Ghost Damage" before PGI actually went and created Ghost Damage via optimal range falloff.
HSR related, from what I know.

Yeah, I've gotten that from lights boating MPL or SPLs too.
