Dude, that just sounds wrong.
BTW. the Scottish King Robert the Bruce was also born on 11th July.
So you just need to join the Freedom Loving yet constantly oppressed People of the FRR.

battlemech loadout vs. battlemech appearance. I do not want to shoot at a mech that looks one way but has it's weapons slotted totally differently. what's the point in shooting at a catapult that has PPC arms if those PPC arms are actually small lasers, and the player has moved the PPCs to the right and left torso for survivability (for example). that is a pretty huge hit to the strategy of gunnery, so it concerns me. I hope you guys are able to address this and bring a great solution to bear that makes mechs look accurate to how they're equipped.
woulda emailed you as you mentioned in your OP, but the link was a dud for me (don't have the email program that it uses dialed in probably).
thanks for all your good work, your dilligence and hard work shows with this project.

I recommend making the default mech color blue this would solve the issue. (at least for me) Or just allow different color modes so people with different types of color blindness can just select which color scheme they can easily see!
Key is the larger variation between colors you use instead of shades the easier it is. I don't care if the color are dynamically different. At least then I can see them and memorize which color means what as long as each color is different enough I can't mistake it like I do with shades!
