I am thinking the Exe maybe for the clans ... maybe or maybe the Koshi for the clans.
Then for IS well ... maybe the Vindicator.

I average 310 a match in it over 100 drops, for comparison I average 245 in the K and 433 in the D.

IMO, the Vindicator 1AA and 1R aren't THAT bad (atleast not worst level performance, maybe medicore to ok in the right hands).
The Vindicator 1X on the other hand is so disastrous that I would relate it to an out of control tire fire.

Cataphract-4X
- slower than a stalker
- as wide and easy to hit as a barn door
- super wide-set arm mounts which are at knee-height, ensuring you kill only rocks and boulders in front of you

a GOLD SUMMONER. not only does it suck, it cost you $500.
I actually want a Gold Summoner. I have never seen one.
Summoners arent actually THAT bad. Yeah, they are tonnage AND hardpoint starved but a Splat nets you a 60 alpha and the best build for it (Gauss+ERPPC) does have nice quirks IF your jumpsnipe game is better than average.
Saddest part about the Summoner is how little it would take to make it more competitive.
I guess we shall see what INFOTECH brings, hehe.

Summoner? A very few possibilities for playing him. Low hardpoint, resilience pretty bad, and did I mention he was able to overheat extremely quickly despite being know for being one of the colder mech of his time almost impossible to overheat?
I really wanted to love the Summoner, but it is just not possible.
Also: Commando and his clan Rival. The Mist Lynx, boy I will never touch them again.
Wolverines? Lazerfist is one of the BEST IS mechs currently.
Summoners are decent...compared to most IS heavies. Still gets Clan guns and Clan XL...which is what makes the mech.
Durability...i swear this mech is very divided. Some say it is squishy. Others like me, say it can tank like mad. Maybe it has to do with playstyle? I move and twist a lot.
Mist Lynx was called Meth Lynx(i say it with a Mike Tyson lisp) for a reason.

What i am sure about is the WEAKEST mech. And that is the Locust 1V, hands down. 4 Ballistic hardpoints on a 20 ton mech, that are good for nothing and might as well not exist as all. One energy hardpoint only. When light mechs basically live or die with the number of energy hardpoints.
Yes, there are other mechs with only one energy hardpoint (that spider....), but those have one or multiple of:
-more armor
-more tonnage to work with
-jumpjets
-and the like.
Also... afaik the Grey Death Legion Locust, the one piloted by Lori Kalmar, the one they based the Pirate's Bane on... was a Locust 1V. I guess i'll never forgive PGI for this.

What are you running on your stormcrows? Maybe you need to adjust your builds to get more success out of them.

don't know what the summoner hate is all about, i use 4 erlrg lasers on it for run and gun strafes or the all srm builds.... those are kinda wonky but still fun.... tried using my vindicators the other day and reminded myself why they collect dust. and i do real well in my lynx's.... the mist is one of my favorite clan lights... have hunted and killed many an Ach in the lynx

I've tried laser vomit, TRO builds, SRM vomit, SSRM vomit and LRM vomit... No matter the build getting past the 6 minutes mark alive in my Stormcorws is really rare.... She just seems to be a damage magnet.

I'm the first to admit, it's got to be me. Each and every other one of my mechs 'speaks' to me how it would like to run, and when I get it running that way, they are amazing... but the 'crows and I have never reached that point.

5xC-SSRM6s should be pretty easy to get high damage matches in.
3xC-ERML + Gauss is also a pretty strong build.
9xC-SPL is pretty awesome if you like to brawl as well.
The SCR can tank damage pretty well for a medium, maybe try to not be in the very front to avoid getting focused first?

That's what I do, just me and the 'crow have never been a good match up.... My Locusts do better for me.
