Free c-bill bonus mech available with a code.
Details here: http://mwomercs.com/...s-piranha-games
Enjoy!
Edit: err, y'all beat me to it.
Sadly, I can't run it (it's not in my challenge), and can't sell it to empty the mechbay (it's a special variant, so it's welded to the 'bay), so I wont' be redeeming it on this account.

It occurs to me that if the Centy was in the 3025 challenge, this would be a golden opportunity for those who haven't declared yet to snag a perfectly nice mech to do it in.
Granted, not being able to optimize this variant in particular would drive me coo coo (muh SRM stack!), but the stock CN9-A might not be a bad ride.
It's actually better armed than the DRG-1N I picked for my (edit: Amaranth's) stock selection

The ammo count buff for AC/LB/UAC 10s allows for even more damage output, too. The only drawbacks would be that stock speed at 50 tons. I might have considered it pretty strongly had it been an option.

I thought of it, but the NCIX variant is not a stock variant that was available in 3025 anyway. If your original, or bonus #1 Challenge Mech is the Centrion though, you can use it as one of your variants (plus the cBill bonus would be great for the Challenge).

Seems like it was, am I missing something that the Sarna entry isn't saying?

I figure I'll do these every so often, like every 5-10 if I'm thinking about it.
DRG-1N: 5 matches, 0 wins, 5 losses, 3 kills, 4 deaths.
I'm pretty satisfied here, because this was an awful run of matches which experience tells me will even out over a 100-match data set. A meta build would have fared little better, my teams' play was so poor.
I'm only barely worried about the w/l, to be honest. It's the kdr that's going to need careful management. If it gets too far away from me, I won't be able to get it back. I'm only one down here, so I'm upbeat.
The following needs formatting, will edit later.
-Mech-ID -Matches -Ws -Ls -Ratio -Ks -Ds -KDR -Dmg -XP -Time -XP Avg. -K Avg. -D Avg. -Dmg. Avg.
*DRG-1N *5 *0 *5 *0.00 *3 *4 *0.75 *839 *1,390 *00:42:30 *278 *0.60 *0.80 *167

Private conversation over heard in the back office of the (WM) mercenary unit
That crazy B***** threatened what?!?!
All right, all right! But the checks better cash or we'll be gone like yesterday's wind.
Why did I not take up a nice safe career like live ordinance disposal....

That means Stock Mech time for me too - and I chose the Dragon as well, as it looked "usable" (after a fashion) and not totally devoid of ammo. The grind begins!
(I don't feel champion pressure as I don't have over-unity KDR and win-loss on anything (except the RVN-4X, and since that's now a Boom Chicken, maybe not for long.))

It makes it significantly easier to poach a kill and/or survive even a bad match that has capping objectives available to end it.
Edit: spelling

Took

Also: 23 matches, 11 wins, 12 losses, 11 kills, 11 deaths.
Once the elite skills are done (come on speed tweak), I should be able to build a bit of a buffer.
I'm glad I'm not out of Tier 3 yet. This would be much harder without access to matches with Tier 4 and 5 pilots to offset the matches chock-full of Tier 1 and 2 pilots.

I had a super nasty losing streak.
After 40 matches: 15 wins, 25 loss, 19 kills, 25 deaths
That's gonna be a rough hole to climb out of. At least I got speed tweak after match #39 ...

DRAGON DRG-1N
25 matches played; Win/Loss: 12 & 13 (0.92); K/D: 9 & 17 (0.53)
There just isn't a lot of damage in it but the ability to plink/suppress with LRMs and AC5 saves it a little.
Saw one comment in chat before a match: "A Dragon! Do they still make those?"; if only they knew...
