Ok remember all electronics are probably bugged. so keep the name calling to a minimum till the techs finish their bug hunt. Keep the fighting to the areas, where the money is. ans as always may your match score be greater than your ping

That'll tweak a few things in the OP, but it can wait. Bed now.
This is a little embarassing, it was supposed to go in a whole 'nuther thread. >.>
I keep a little reference thread over in the new player help section. I was gonna quick-post this there, then update later.

Been doing the same but so far just with my WMC Victors in Div3. At the moment the Unit has a place over in in Cathay on Solaris 7. Come on over we have been smuggling in some Steiner beer form over in Silesia and have the big Holo unit setup for watch the fights. Drop in for cold one anytime. Or drop a line to setup a nice "friendly" friendly fight. this is almost like R&R after being on the front lines fighting the Clanners. we are also looking into a few contracts for when the novelty of the games wears off. Business is Business after all

Probably going to level my last couple Dires this weekend before my unofficial personal deadline of the Battletech release date on 24 April 2018.

Looking at the Quirks, a -20% Missile Cooldown catches the eye.
You guys know any better place to plant a MRM40? Big Brother to the Vindicators in Div 7...

Thank you for your generous contribution! At this time unit coffers are only used for recruitment fees. we have enough on hand to send out 4 invites. Which should be more then enough for now. Keep your eyes out for this unofficial PSA message,
Wow, they still use RFID in the 31st century?

I run MRM spam on a couple of the others, but I think I'm gonna go ballistic for this one. Too good to pass up

When the skill tree system was introduced, the old 3-to-master system The Challenge was built around went the way of Clan Dodo (it became history, see what I did there?). I had already mastered ClanTech chassis that allowed me to do a perfectly valid ClanTech deck.
But I wanted to do an assault for versatility and in case of tonnage upgrades. While I'd identified the Dires for that, I hadn't begun them yet when the skill systems changed. So I began Dires as my continuing What 'Mech garage project. With the release date next week, 2 Dires "unmastered," and a double XP weekend conveniently done this weekend, it seemed appropriate to finish that project.
Soooooooooo, my final Bonus 5 Chassis, the Dire Wolf, now has 3 "mastered" variants.
* 9 Chassis
- Panther
- Victor
- Jenner IIC
- Dragon
- Grasshopper
- Shadowcat
- Enforcer
- Timber Wolf
- Dire Wolf
* 37 mechs total:
- At least 3 of each chassis
- 8 additional Panthers (because Panthers)
- 1 additional Victor (an extra -9S for CW shenanigans)
- 1 additional Dragon (an extra -1N for an upgraded build, to leave the first one stock)
I'll probably still add additional variants here and there. That VTR-9A1, is the obvious example, other c-bill variants for giggles, the occasional hero with accumulated event MC, or moar Panthers ...)
While it's a little tempting to add the Adder and/or Kit Fox, because they fit the "Slow Little Gun Mech That Could" theme, I think my roster of chassis is pretty good now.
The whole point of Bonus 4 and Bonus 5 wasn't to keep grinding All The Things, it was to fill out drop decks with the right swappable weights to play CW/FP. I can do that with the mechs I've got now, and a big part of the point of The What 'Mech Challenge is to play the chassis you've been dealt.
Who am I kidding? As long as I'm playing this account, I'll look for ways to keep making it fresh and fun within Ed's original parameters. Maybe that adds Pumas and Ullers, maybe not.
(Wait, 3 Timbers and a Kit Fox works out to 255 tons, the new (current) deck limit ... I'm such a geek)
When/if Ed chooses to do something new for the new systems, I'll likely create a fresh account for that and keep this one around as the unit's Admin Warrior. So yeah, I'll keep fiddling with this account to keep the fun going as long as I'm enjoying the game
See you on the field, Challengers!

Why not both, my dear Panther?
This account bought me the 9A1 already, but i still need some C-Bills to fit it. Theory crafting though...
XL300 (60.8). Endo and DHS.
1 MRM40 (2 tons), 2 UAC10 (3.5 tons). Unskilled that's 71 seconds each for 1300 damage total.
1 DHS, 1 JJ.
One never fights the Meta, for one does not want the gods to become angry, but come on - having that MRM instead of another UAC5 (just been reading about this in Awe of course) means a nice WHOOOOSH!!! in my humble opinion.
And the range brackets fit much better.
Gosh, need another 2 million C-Bills to find out. Until Tuesday. Shorter yet, as i need some test matches. This here is a Challenge indeed!

Pour quoi pas, you ask?
I'm gonna run something on it to start, and it's a unique arrangement of hardpoints and tonnage. Especially on this account, it's a unique opportunity to go ballistic.
The only other mech that can do this kind of stuff is the Annihilator, 20 tons heavier, but not available under the challenge's parameters.
So yeah, I'm totally doing ballistics. If I get another one, I might just do something creative with it.

so here we are in what 3058? yeah i can see RFID being a thing...

True, I forgot that in the 1st Succession war they nuked and bio warfared themselves back to the 20th century.
Seriously, though, Solaris is the extension of the WMC! I am focused on DIV 6, I die horribly in any other Division.

Yes, I should continue the 9NC, I do feel that the Aesir have punished me in real life for not completing it :-)

Fair enough, just watch those firing patterns on those AC/10s. I tried it and they... well they bend downwards pretty fast, so you need to aim above the target beyond say 200-250 metres.
Try it out on the Testing Grounds, i never saw ballistics perform like that in this game.
Maybe it's a Victor thing, kinda curse or something.
P.S.: Being the Target Dummy i am, my 9A1 runs AC/20 and MRM40 for alpha these days at a Cooldown of 4 sec. each with Quirks.
Won't work for you i guess, but that's the thing i like about this game. Different Mechs for different people. Like, say, cars or cosmetics.

Will confirm, I've had a couple matches like that in it. Never quite that much damage (never more than 1100), but similar amounts of kills and wrecking dudes in a losing effort.
AC20 and 3xSRM6 is nasssssty business.
