The Baron is out of the cadet games, here's how I've done so far:

The free premium time helped, I have a third HBK the H with 0 games so far..only just kitted it out...still got Ferro to go:)

H has always been MEH, IMO. What build are you using?

5ml and AC10, it's not the build it's the matches I find myself in. that particular mech seems to be a derp magnet lol. Nowt wrong with the mech-just the quality of the matches in it^^

the 5 MLs combined with the AC10s rof also tends to run too hot for being able to work great in a furball if things do go south.

i think for faction play, to keep it simple, as we are just jumping every 7 days, just goto the next in the list. once we come to the end back to the front and do it again.

ie in faction play they are listed Davion, Kurita, Lioa, Marik, FRR, Steiner. so we do D, K, L, M, F, S repeat. seeing as how we are just farming rewards. maybe just set a time like today or what ever. so once every 5 weeks for the next 70 weeks or so we will be able to work on the list of each faction. each faction will have about 90 days of possible play, so no reason not to collect 3, 4, 5, or more free (well grind) mechbays

The 5H was really quick because I got very lucky in one match: 981 damage, 8 kills and 4 assists, 1st victory of the day which totalled 11kXP I already had it fully Elite'd it at the time, so it was a great speed-boost in mastering it.

Did the Quiz a second time on the same day that I did the first, got the Commando.
Just bought the 2D and fully loaded it, won't be new to me since I have them fully mastered in my main account.
Will be going with it until it's fully Basic'ed and with, at least, 43kXP to cover Elite and Master. Whenever (WM) joins a faction, and since now that I have 4 challenge mechs, I do believe it's ok to participate in CW to get the mechbays and proceed along with the Challenge.

Though, truth be told, I'm somewhat eager to get the COM's done so I can tackle the big challenge for me: to master three variants of the Summoner.

You are free to drop in CW anytime As long as you take at least one of your mechs in your drop deck. I will pick up a faction next time I log in, probably Liao.

I like Loopala's idea of just rotating through all the factions. How do you guys feel about it, or do you prefer voting each time?
