P.p.s. From anecdotal experience there are a ton of new players from steam. I haven't asked everyone but lots of (c) and 3pv drones and odd builds, so congrats on what looks like a successful steam launch to PGI

Yeah, I know but you have already noted the "abomination" of a build I am using. I am thinking about getting an xl 255 and going 3 LPL on the al and srm12xac20 on the AH

300xl in the Delta is beast mode.

And no sympathy here. Any idea how much those VTRs set me back?

Locusts can only "carry" now because of generous quirks, before that they died in one shot.

I usually need a generous amount of beer before I start playing well as (Ed Steele), although I play better sober on my Clan account.

i keep running into this player in tier 5. i know the voice and he is a good commander. i thought it was a vet playing a free account till he asked about how to unlock the extra module slot. yep a steam newbe. he will not be tier 5 long. a good gamer that is using his experience at other games in MWO to be a good player. as i keep my eyes open i am running into other new to MWO but very good games picking up the game and running with it. just because they are the FNG here does not mean they are newbes to this style of gaming. the steam crowd is learning quick

now if i could just get these VTRs to preform. i guess i will be spending cbills on an xl engine soon. this thing just can't get out of the way with the stock engine

well got the 9k thru basics with the guass rifle. thought i had lost my touch. the VTR as a range shooter was MEH. as i am trying this with Super Stock mechs the main weapon is kind of stuck.

now first game back in the SS VTR 9S with the AC20 being my long range weapon. got me the Johny 5 with 740 dam
for some reason i only have screen shots of all but the team score, could of swore i hit the right button oh well




oh well i guess i will stick with brawling and back stabing

BTW it helped that i had a King Crab and an Atlas in my lance, and we stuck together, to take the incoming fire for me. nobody even notices a VTR when there is an Atlas and a King Crab to shoot at

Hey everyone, I took a 7 day contract with the FRR, but I was curious if we wanted to stretch our contracts out to 14 days to get a little extra bonus. Given the nature of using alternate accounts it would also give everyone more time to level up in each faction before we switch to the next. So what do you think?
