I'm glad they lowered the score to benefit newer folks, the less equipped, and those who play lights other than the cheetah. This is a fun event, not a tournament. Funny thing is I saw a lot of folks constantly saying,, "250 is easy, its a joke", but then I see them tooling around in Banshees, Daishi, and King Crabs. Its pretty easy to smash 250 in those, but many folks don't have 200 pimped out mechs in their drop ships. It was a challenge to get 250 piloting my leveling Wolfhounds last night. Many times the match was all but over before I got in to a decent engage position. Had man 249 runs last night also. Throw in a have dozen games of 500-600 and that was my night last night. Soon as i jumped into my rotation mechs, the 250 was a forgone conclusion.

Thanks again for making this a fun event again.

Either the site is really delayed or it's not counting my scores any more ...

Great event! I hope to play some this weekend.

With the early adopter awards and the 25 grab bags the Warhammer pack is an easy sell! Sadly no Timby yet, but we'll see.

Happy Halloween!

So is twelve hours long enough to wait for my points to come in? :/

"Ok. you already spent three times the amount of money you usually spend on recent AAA games. Be responsible and stop."
***25 extra trick or treat goodies when you buy the Warhammer***
"skjfhsihsbqmf where's my wallet?! i need those cockpit items!!!"

that's it, i swear. Only a Kodiak will make me spend money again.

If at any point you feel frustrated with this event just remember these words:
"At least I don't need to score 250 on any particular map."

and have to have 1 kill 1 assist AND have to survive

I take back what I said about the event now that they loweredthe requirements. Makes new players like me able to get the occasional goody bag.

Wait wait what? 250 is now 150? Way to go PGI, but I was satisfied with 250 as 300 was way out of line last time around. But this surprised me. Guess that is the trick on all of us. Maybe it is to curb the heavy and lrm spam we were seeing. Numbers died down. Hell, even I will stop taking my LRM spammer brawler out every round due to this. And I am pulling 300+ games with it. I want to have fun, time to pull out some fun builds.

Get out. Seriously, just get out.

This is supposed to be a fun event, and they are trying to make it more fun for more people.

A wise decision since it was mostly not enough enemy for everyone in the group....
for some weird reason match score is still mainly based on damage...

on average 6 out of 24 people had 250 and more...

Thumbs up. Good change to make this for everyone and not a challange.

TBR-C(C) Mech is a tasty change.

Thanks for keeping it funky fresh.

Thanks for the Timber Wolf! Somehow, the Black Sheep techs cobbled together 2 largish XL engines from it... one kept muttering something about magic, but hey, the ammo bays are full and my coffee is steaming, so I'm not about to complain.

This is an event. Not a challenge. Hence the much more reasonable score requirement.

I suppose... on the plus side, I can now resume leveling up my new Enforcers while still consistently getting prizes n.n

I was going to pick up the Warhammer this weekend. I did and got a TBR-C with my bonus picks!

Thanks!

I love these events. Even more now that the score has been lowered to 150. I can play my favorite lights and mediums and still qualify!

Hey anyone who is saying that your matches are not counting, please remember that there is a tab for each game mode. The 0/25 or what ever number is currently in the tabs represents the number of chances you have already claimed. If you have not clicked them yet it will still show zero. Click all the tabs to see if you are overlooking your bags.
