I don't really care for most cockpit items at all. Christmas lights, halloween stuff, clapping monkeys, lucky cats, ice cream desserts or champagne bottles. Give me a break. There are some things I like. The .50 cal round is nice, the dog tags are nice. But I really, really love the cockpit statues.

I want to collect them all. Has PGI said anything about why they're no longer making cockpit statues for new mechs? The Clan players have no cockpit statues, and it makes me a sad panda.

I mean, they're overpriced as hell, but I still wish they had more of them.

I'd love a Shadow Cat statue in my Shadow Cat cockpit. I guess that's not something that Clanners would actually do. Lore breaking, I suppose. My character would have to hide it from his superiors.

Well I don't think Clanners would paint their mechs all gold or have warhorns in the cockpit either so I would not worry about it breaking lore.

I don't care about lore, I want a DWF statue in my DWF and I want to paint it crazy colors and designs with decals of clan wolf on the front back and sides.

They really do need to add in more statues. Thought I'd give this thread a bump. Needs to be seen, discussed, and acted on! Especially now with mechs like the Archer and Rifleman in game. Got 'em on my monitor stand... need them on my dashboard!

Well, you see them a lot more than you see the outside of your mech. And they're a lot prettier than the christmas lights, halloween decorations and soda pops.

Besides, when PGI is handing out free MC, what else are you going to spend it on? Been playing since 2012, there aren't any in the mechs in the game already that I want to buy with MC :)

After saying that, I do like the idea of each mech having its own statue.

500 kill assists and or 100 wins in any one mech gives you a metal statue cockpit item. For an mc purchase you can have it match the paint of the mech its in.
Bam.

I'm sure you actually understand. We have paints after all.

"Vanity" items sell like hot cakes in MMO(RPG)s. They are cool little things and people love them! MWO may not be that type of game but the principle applies.

Honestly? It's because they aren't a big money maker.

Now they mostly exist to add value to packs and the like.

Still no reason not to have them, I mean you just take the in game mech model and make it tiny.

Make it so that we can apply camo, paint, and put a pose!

If it was forged by yourself from a scrap piece of armor taken as Isorla from a battlemech you defeated in honorable combat, no one would be able to take it from you unless you'd be challenged to a trial of possesion. Most clanners wouldn't waste their honor fighting over trinkets though. Then again, thoose clinging to fragments of the past would serve the clan better as Solahma, quiaff? Posted Image

*le sigh*

This is what people ask for in MWO instead of improving actual gameplay or fixing the things that have been broke for YEARS on end is more things to clutter their cockpit with?

A robust features game play will never make it to MWO with this community. They seem to want every mech in Sarna and cosmetics. I never wonder why I barely play anymore that is for sure.

Don't worry it is what PGI skill set is best at so I am sure you will get it since it is pointless.

Sure, if you ignore my other 8000 posts on this forum, this is basically the only thing I've been asking for.

Good post.

Good post.

I am generalizing with that statement of course. However, requests like such just let PGI know it is okay to neglect the things that matter. I don't need to see your other 8000 posts to make that point.
