The real question is how many UAC5s it can carry.

I'm not a fan of the lighter ACs so I'll probably pass as it looks to be ballistic hardpoint oriented. with that said, I >love< the chasis, it's beautiful.

If you can swap the AC5 to ultras and replace the AC2s with LLs it would be an interesting rifleman spoof. Though I think you can only fit 1 extra heatsink in that so good luck with the heat.

I'm thinking replace the AC-5s and AC-2s with a pair of UAC-5 and as much ammo as possible, that would be nice.

Ive always been a fan of ballistic weapons so a Jagermech for me is a deff. Epecially the variant that swaps out two ACs for lrms. The potential of that variant will be epic. Ballistic and missile in the arms and energy in the torsos.

Not included in the variant but they might allow limited swapping. Worst case you could swap the medium lasers out and get more heatsinks.

i have a build for that
you can get the Uac5s (and the ammo) in the arms and the med and lg lasers in the torso
uses Xl engine and endo internals, much better armor in my build

It is my opinion that your opinion that opinions are bad is wrong, so there!

Add 2 LBX 10s make it a brawler.

Really not sure at this point, depends on the final selection of mechs come gameday.

I already have my Atlas for Assault class and since the Locust is unlike, 'all signs point to yes' for the Commando.

Still not sure what I'll grab in the Medium and Heavy Ranges. (I like to have a range of weight classes depending on my mood.)

I have never been a fan of the Jaggermech, however there is a lot to be said about having arm mounted autocannons in a hardpoint world.
I think out of the box I would probably drop the AC/2s in favor of more armor, more ammo, and possibly upgrading one of md lasers to a Lg Laser.
Maybe later when the tech is available upgrade to an XL engine and 86 kph, Endo, FerroFiber armor, and 2 Gauss Rifle.

Only way I'd ever use a Jager (not the kind in a green bottle) is with double Gauss and at least 3 tons of ammunition.

Jager is the first mech I plan on buying. Will have to 'settle' for my Hunchback in the meantime. :D

It was one of my favorites in games past, and I always found a use for it. I also like AC's a lot.

Yeah I'll be getting it, for sure.

Im stoked at having all the prime mechs, especially the Jager. Everyone has specific combat style moods and when I'm in a run and gun mentality and want good Cbills, why yes my friends i will be using my custom painted cBill boosted swat Mech, my Jag. good hunting :D

The thing I don't like about this mech is the Medium lasers mounted on the torso. I'm just not that kind of player when it comes to mech simulations.. If I'm going to have something mounted on the "fixed" torso section, it's going to be missiles or something that doesn't require precision aiming liking AC's and Lasers..

The arms look decent enough but I have to also wonder about the durability of the arms and also the slow speed..

Yes, I know it's an opinion.. but the fact is that those mediums are mounted on the torso and for me that limits the firepower from those weapons.
