I can definately see myself having a lot of fun in a Jagermech with double UAC/5s and paired Large Lasers. Add in buttloads of ammo, a few tons of extra armor, and maybe a heat sink or two.

I am a big fan of the loadout and I like the sound of how it plays so I am very tempted to pick one up.

i can see myself throwing one in the bay and ploping on a pair of UAC5 and a pair of LL (double heat sinks will keep it cool enough i do believe.) but depending on the model (something i ALWAYS consider) those left and right torso protrusions might make an XL engine a VERRY bad idea. (but awesoeme for protecting the face and CT)
really the hitboxes might be the deciding factor for me.

Can't help but love this mech with it being a legitimate gun boat. Not much of a brawler but I love sitting back and take opportunities when they present themselves. This boat has a lot of damage potential which is very slick. Can't wait till they introduce it!!

I am certainly going to get one along with the Cataphract. I certainly hope they sell some special editions that have a C-bill bonus somewhere down the line. ;)

I don't know about the Jagermech. I've always felt it was lacking. Lots of potential in its design that just always felt wasted. But it would depend on what I can do with it as far as reconfiguring it goes. If I can get it set up well, then I'd love to have one.

I've played only Mechwarrior 4, yet the game had me from the beggining. Waiting eagerly for MWO.

When I was looking at the mechs I was first attracted to Cataphract, but then .... ze Jagermech. I am planning to get it and prolly play only with it ;) It looks Awesome (pun intended).

Add 2 LBX 10s make it a brawler.

ill take your dual lbx10 and raise you to 2 Ac20 seeing as it lacks lower arm actuators, it might be one of the 2 mechs (thus far) that can perform such a feat (the other being a catapult with its left AND right torso balistic hardpoints.)

I will take one if it is possible to upgrade it to a -6H later. A LB2X for long range plinking and large Laser for medium range cutting in each arm and several RL 15 to persuade every fool that comes close that doing so was a bad idea.

Well the game, without the Jagermech that is, is pretty limited on Mechs that can stack ACs. Plenty of them have a few slots here and there but won't be enough for a guy looking to half fill a Mech out with Machine Guns coupled with ACs or Gauss's. This is basically going to be the AC-pult.(Also comparable to the full energy wielding default variant Awesome)

UAC5 and AC2 have good ROF. You are getting 2 UAC shots for 3AC2 shots - this gives pretty good rain of led - i tried that on a dragon. Jagger will work even better )

Jägermech? 2x AC/2 and 2 AC/5 combined with 2x Medium Lasers? Sure, why not!
Very ugly, but a useful supporter and a good fighter for long range combats. Hopefully it has enough ammunition. Soon as possible i'll buy one of these things.

"Dakka dakka" isdakka dakka, but twin Gauss rifle´s "phium phium" is definitely a reason for getting this ´Mech.

The thing I wonder is: could you modify a Jagermech with 4 AC/2 and 4 tons of extra ammo then fire them sequentially from the high ground at long range for a continuous stream of metal to make a mech that specializes in creating a long range beat zone to deny the opposition a route on the map. Yes, I know Ultra AC/2 would be better (but are those even available lore wise yet), and AC/2 generally suck, and the Jagermech is lacking jump jets.

I gotta get Urbanmech MkII

The Jagermech looks like an Urbanmech with suspenders standing on stilts with twin guns in his grubby little hands.

I've gotta get me one of them...and X4 UAC5's...
