Easy there, WhiteKnight, I'm pretty sure the pay-roll is full, and you are not on it... son. And you should really get with the notion that you have the right to express your opinion, but you have no legal or moral right to prevent others from doing the same. Awwwwww, you don't want someone ruining your pretty post? Then keep your opinion to yourself, otherwise be prepared for the scrutiny and opinions of your peers (those to which the posts are open for review), regardless of how vociferous or vitriolic they wish to be. In short: if you can't take the hear, stay the H3!! out of the kitchen.
Now for the game oriented opinion: I have mexed feeling about the Map Selection as it may sound the death knell of certain maps/ map types... But I will hold my opinion until I have made more observations. As far as game mode is concerned, that one is a deal breaker for me. Yes, soldiers in the real world don't get to decide where they want to deply, but they do get mission breifings that allow them to prepare for missions by selecting the appropriate equipment. That doesn't happen here. It would be nice if it did, but... And I have sunk money into this game so I feel Ihave a right to expect a little more from PGI (more importantly if they'd stop screwing up I'd throw my money at them the way a cheap prom date throws her virginity around. But they are not interested in anyone's complaints, only those things which will make them more capital. So when people ask "why won't PGI listen to good ideas?", the answer is simple: <PGI $ing$: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY... OOOOHHHH, OOOOHHHH, OOOOHHHH, YEAH...> and you can bet the paying customers are getting everything they want. But as for the complainers... well...
So it really doesn't matter how much you complain, or how good your ideas are to fix the game, unless you can impress Ross and the boys (and girls) with some cold hard cash... then go pound sand buddy boy.
