Excessive Whine

I think we all get it. There are some not so great players. If you don't have the stones to step, try and lead, and risk failure, can't see where you have any room to talk. Please, don't think that anyone is going to listen to you, especially when you don't speak. That's a woman's side of an arguement. "Well if you can't read my mind, and know what is wrong, I'm not talking."
Honestly I find that kind of crap pathetic.

Most maps I ask for a plan and am normally met with abject silence.
Then I tell them I got a plan.
Sometimes they work and sometimes ya just get beat.
Somebody got to herd the kittens.

That's why I always laugh when people here in the forum drag out the tired emotional appeal of "new player experience" and "learning curve" in regards to stuff like the steam release. This game has people that rock after weeks of play, and guys that are literally more detrimental than a disconnect who've played for years.
But yea, people in this game a RIPE for leadership. I'd say about a good 30% of the pugs I've dropped with will follow any direction good or bad. It doesn't take much either. Get 2-3 guys to do something tactical, and let the sheep tank damage and wins get pretty easy.

Puglife.
One guy commented how even Chuck Norris can't handle Arctic Cheetahs. My reply was Chuck Norris can't handle herding pugs.

For example people running off alone to die and then complaining about the "lack of support".
Maybe sometime the whines are justified, but overall I get the impression that the worst players complain the loudest.

It is the old phenomen that shows up in all areas of life. Yesterday it was ok, today nothing works and the harder you try the worse it gets for some reason(maybe someone versed in game theory can explain). It is like a gambler that looses at the Casino. "I will play just one more match to try and compensate for my losses and get back to where I was..." And naturally that match goes to hell too.
the MM does not work or rather it does not work good enough. T3 Should not have to meet T1 and T5 should not have to meet T3.

Fought one last night who told me how great he is because he is a lord. I was in a Tier 3 mech being a tier 3 myself and had a Higher match score. His mech? An Artic cheater. Just another Meta blowhard.
I really am starting to think most of you tryhards are just frauds Like the clown above. You hook up with a good team and ride their coatails to victory than come here to brag and put down while farming in solo for c-bills.
Play in Group and CW if your so special and stay out of solo. It wasn't created for you special snoflakes anyways.

Hyper-competitive sociopaths don't lead.
They hide in the back while bullying other people into taking risks and damage (and dying.) Then, when somebody else has done all the heavy lifting, they waddle on in, mop up the kills, and berate the other players - the ones who actually had spines - for being "terribads" because they died.
Of course, if the worthless sociopath had gotten of his rocking chair, shown some courage, and actually gone into battle with his team, far fewer people on his side would have died. But then he'd have fewer people to laugh at and berate for their "flaws." That's the same reason they don't take command - they don't want the "bads" and other players to do well; they want to instead have somebody to laugh at and insult.
I've dealt with these clowns both in video games and in tabletop roleplaying - hell, there's one in our group currently who badly needs an attitude adjustment. It is not just about winning with them; they need to be "the best" at everything AND be putting somebody else down or insulting them at the same time. And the best way to do that in many games is to be a whiny, cowardly jerk who hides in the back and who lets other people do the real work, which is what you're seeing.

...And you sit there, looked at the map, thinking, "I said, Sector Bravo 2. Why on earth did they move to Gulf 9? Everyone's on VOIP. I said it several times. They still went to Gulf 9."
Or when only half the team does what you say while the other half does its own thing and gets killed, then the half that listened barely manages to squeak out a win, and your buddies all go, "That was a stupid plan man, it nearly cost us the match! Don't ever lead again!"
...And you sit there, looking at the map, thinking, "I said to stay out of the ditch. Why on earth did half of them go down there? I told them they'd get massacred if they did!"
As a leader, you never really get to win unless you manage to roll the enemies. Even then, the one pilot on your team who died will curse you for his death.

Great... i'll take my slow assault and lead.... oh no wait .... the NASCAR racers are WAAAYY in front of me (almost every other mech is faster)... damn its hard to lead these days ...
In my oppinion its almost impossible to lead this game if your the last mech to arrive at battle.

So what crap are U showing lately...because apparently U cannot do anything wrong... now that thought is, in my humble oppinion, even more pathetic.
Or to be short : If U r the winner , then why whine about the whiners ?

Can't agree more ! And yes, i too am guilty of spilling my guts from time to time...
Lets call it compensation for all the weird things happening in this game
