Simple causal chain:

Clan mechs have and will have Clan XL (planned new rules won´t change that) -> Clan mechs are better then IS -> organized groups know what´s up and therefore play Clan -> mostly Pugs stay in IS and encounter better tech and mostly organized teams -> Pugs get frustrated and vent or in future will downrate MWO on steam -> MWO suffers.

It´s as easy as that. And all you Clan elitists not willing to hear whining.... go drop in IS solo for some months and see how that goes for you. ;)

About the same as clan solo. I run into Is premades all boating the cack out of the overquirked few chassis and utterly outclass what clan mechs we have brought.
Only common factor here is utterly uncoordinated group of people all trying to play game mode like it's quick play, and refusing to take the steps needed to be competitive.
You can either see the situation as it REALLY is, or keep on throwing bias around. The fact will still be the fact though.

That doesn´t contradict my point in the slightest.
Yes, IS Groups dominate most Clan pugs. So what?

Fellas, if the problem is that when pugging, one loses to 12-mans...why does one not form his own 12-man and do something about it?

Well, because WE DONT WANT TO? Not everybody wants to play in a unit, face it.

Oh, and the majority of players in CW are solos, as Russ statet. And he is desperatly tryig to get more solos from the playerbase involved to revive some of the fighting on the map. Go look on his vlog

So, just guess who is keeping the whole thing alive?

Naaah, I want to play when I want, how long I want and so on.

And what dou you want? Sealclubbing? If not, why fear fighting only against premades?

You cant MAKE solos play CW, they will just leave and you will have less ppl to play with. Noce logic you have there

OK join a casual unit, and just show up when ya want, that's what we do in Clan Lone Wolf's,

I dont fear permades, we are a premade, and i damn sure dont fear PUGS, or SOLO's in the solo Q, some times we do the stomping, some times we get stomped, but we dont come here and whine about it like the solo / rambo stray cats that become baby seals, because thay cant stand TEAMWORK.....

How many of those solos are players who are dropping solo because their normal teammates are not available?

Is Russ trying to get more solos to be solos in Faction Play?

Or is he trying to get more players to get invested in the world through connecting with other players and creating a dynamic community?

Guess which strategy is in PGI's best interest in the long term!

And what do the units want?, to play when they want, how long they want, with their friends and unit mates and so on.

And what do you want, to have everything the way you want, the game catered exactly for you so you never have to change nor play with others and you want to stop others playing with their friends.

What you need to do is go into LFG, go to your Faction TS or join a casual unit and all these things will make CW much more fun and you can play with coordinated people and still play how and when you want, but i know you wont do this, instead you'll just whine why everything isnt made to cater exactly to you, instead of taking a little bit of initiative and helping yourself.

Sorry but this is not overambitious in a community warfare mode. Dropping with a unit in TS is basically a totally different game experience, like it or not. If you prefer to go as lone starr, deal with the consequences. Or enjoy the pugging, which i chose for myself.

You seem a bit bitter over certain things. A headset costs around 15 bucks in my book and there are plenty of units, which are pretty easy going about participation and attendance.

I do enjoy PUGing, been enjoying it for 2 days now, Clan PUGing is better than IS PUGing that I have done in CW.

I do not do TS because I have not tested it yet to my satisfaction in using it, the one time I could fit in to try I was not happy finding myself in some **** racist channel because it was not marked as such and the second raised an issue I have to tell the creators of the program about.

Assuming someone you met over the Internet is bitter is beneath anyone including you, it is one of those 'Internet excuses' people hide behind to avoid having an actual conversation and possibly facing the truth they may well be wrong about something.

I have owned $15 dollar headsets, a number of them have problems. like the ones I had to take tools to fixing the problems they came with. Just because something is cheap doesn't make it great. Some players also have problems getting VOIP working here, I met 2 in CW matches these past 2 days, they have headsets and they work in other programs but they cannot get them working with MWO. Those 2 are just part of what I talk about, you do know such people exist?

Really? So the game title MechWarrior ONLINE (since you like big, dumb capital emphasis) is a lie? Call PGI quick! :D

Well I've found myself screeming because i felt ridiculed and insulted by your post.

CW: This game mode just is not for the casuals.

As for capitalization, go back and read my post #57 in this topic, I never mentioned it once. You're doing that thing people have done since before the Internet existed, you get mad about something and project that anger on other people. Person A offends you, you take it out on Person B, C and D who may even not care about the subject either way. Get a grip.

Casuals jammered and screemed an whined and got a seperate queue. Solo queue.
They still went on pub ts servers hooked up other casuals and get their faces melted in group queue by larger, trained and organized groups.
Why ?
Stay in your solo drops g..d...it.
PuGs jammered and whined and cryed when it was suggested that CW was only for Communitys.
Ok ok let them be... so get some puggys to fill up the groups .... whahahahahar
Nope they are still jammering and crying and begging, even if they still get the candy basicaly for nonparticipation, cause again they went against ORGANIZED TEAMS or COMMUNITYS in COMMUNITY WARFARE and effin EARNED to get FACEMELTED !

Well am I the only one that finds this unlogicaly ?

Apparently you don't have the right definition of Community thus you are illogical in addition to doing that silly Internet stuff about making up arguments (see above) and trying to be 'trending' in the hopes of getting a non-existent feud going so you get noticed by social media, news and Paris Hilton's blog.

After PUGing CW for both IS and Clan, so far I am convinced Clan PUGing > IS PUGing.

No one said anything about teams. If you got 11 friends, call 'em up.

I don't have to 'face' anything. You know why? Because I drop as a member of a unit, in a 12-man, and we fight together-and if circumstances dictate, we win together.

But, if you don't want to work together as a team, in a team, to beat other teams, then continue to suffer the consequences of fighting organized teams...

Hence, enough whining about your circumstances which you have engineered through your unwillingness to act as a member of a team.

You're making this far too easy for yourself. As has been stated above, not everyone has the resources or simply wants to join a unit with ranks. And even if you got friends for a premade, that doesn't mean you got the time to play this game 24/7 with ranks and stuff like you nerds. Pugs and premades should be seperated. It's just no fun at all for the pugs, and you can't tell me you're improving your skill with clan swarming unprepared pugs. If you're really that good you don't need to use the obviously more powerful mechs in the game. As has been also stated above, arctic cheetah swarming has nothing to do with honor.

What resources? You mean, social skills, friends, or the ability to make friends? Maybe you don't own a mic. Try selling your collection of participation trophies on Ebay, you may get enough for a used mic.

You just dont get it, do you? One last time:

Majority of CW Players = Solo (Russ)
Russ wants even more solo players to start CW
Solo players dont like units (thus, solo)

And now you are trying to make excuses why the solo players MIGHt have a unit and still drop solo. Seriously, in your unit is not ONE member active you might team up with. Thats a really weak statement, as most of yours are in fact...

Because, Solo Players are not equal NEW players, and thus would have joined a unit long ago if they were interested in what this offers them. And CW is not even new anymore, everyone in the game who is interested in joining units did so long ago. He is trying to get CW more crowded, because its playerbase is thinning out quite badly.

And, with all the talk of "challenges", "improving", "choice" and all the other nonsense, why do you even reject the idea of giving solos a randome planet to fight over, so you have to only bother with those eager, hard playing folks you envy so much?
Do you fear there is no one left to play with? Or that every match becomes a taxing one, making taking a planet harder for your unit? Or that every slouch can play CW without giving a damn about you challenges or serious play and still have fun?

I dont get your hostility here, its like we would try totake something valuable away from you,.....?

If its just that you think everyone who plays CW should play it to excell in MWO... get a life. Its a game. No one with half a brain tries to excell here. We drop by and play a round or two for fun, if you set your lifegoal to be the best MWO player there is - well, go for it buddy. Just don´t expect everyone to follow your lead.

Making Solo AND Unit players happy at the same time would be a win/win, and letting units fight among themselfs to determine the best out there should attract the players who are interested in teamplay, the rest pugs around and is happy

Win/Win

Or not? What are we taking away from you with that idea that makes you so afraid?

One day a week i meet my friends, we do cooking together and enjoy a great meal. Most time we meet a second day to have fun enjoying football (soccer) on tv or in the stadion.

Online i have some contacts to some names i meet on the net, but they are not friends.
To have a friend i need to know them, need to see their faces and doing rl things that matter with them.
Iam sorry for you, if you think your contacts in the internet are friends.

A mic? Are you sure to have me on the mic, after my stroke i have aphasie. It means that iam shuffeling words, sometimes using the wrong words without noticing. Up/down, after/before, now/later and so on, its a little irritating if you sit together in rl, but online it wouldnt work.
And i dont like to hear to coms, judging about what i have to read in the chat.

Going in a group in an online game was 15-20 years ago, now i have no time for that anymore.
Just playing for fun and relaxing in my spare time between friends and real challenges in the real word.

Sorry that i dont want to play with some kids that think that challenges in a virtual game matter.
My challenges pay my bills. ;)

In MWO I have what is called a "friends list", not a "whoever I met on the Internet list". Some of these people are RL friends. Grouping in a group is exactly what "faction play" is all about. But keep whining, if you cry long enough, maybe PGI will give you your own solo only Rambo mode. Although that is what I thought public solo queue was for.

Time. It's about time. And motivation, but for me, mostly about time. I used to play a different online game in a clan, but not anymore. Not enough time. There are more important things in life than being the best in an online game. Maybe some people who suck in life need this, I don't.

Most matches in CW, when it's pug vs pug, I am having a blast. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but usually it's fun. Unless you get roflstomped by some Premade who seems to play this game 24/7 and of course uses the stronger clan tech.

I've been playing this game since the start of the beta, before ECM was even implemented. Who are you to tell me how i should play the game?If I don't want to join a unit and still be able to enjoy CW, I should be able to. I don't understand why there can't be some planets for pugging only and some for elitists like you. When I was still an active clan player and we rolled on public servers it was often boring, unless we met some other teams. So I can't understand what you are getting out of stomping pug teams that are outgunned by your sophisticated teamplay.
