I did it in 6 matches.
If your part of an organized team, sure getting an average match score of 500 is reasonable but in solo drops it takes about 6-8 matches to get the other objectives then another X matches depending on how many premades you run into. 200 avg is about right for that.

PUG life. This was after 2 ghost drops though so yeah it might take 6-8 drops.

Left with the mechbay challenge...
to continue or not to continue
yet another question
Originally I was going to skip that one, but I found it lined up nicely with the faction rank bonus which also happened to be a mech bay.

Exactly that. The same we have in public queue we have in CW. It is all a need to grind the enemy down. And then people wonder why everyone is just emphasising firepower. Whatever...

1st match: Victory part completed
2nd match: XP completed
3rd match: LP and Kills completed
4th match: Kill assists and C-Bills completed
5th match: Damage completed
7th match: Match score completed
I loved this event, I had a real sense of progression with every match I played. Doing well in matches was rewarded properly, so if you did well you completed everything faster. I still saw some people who tried to desperately stay on their first mech to grind match score, but it wasn't a major issue like the last CW (the part public, part CW event with match score) event.
I would love it if you could do the same setup for public queue matches, as this format removes the whining of the requirement for a single match being too high.

All joking aside, I can understand some the negativity towards CW in general, but why bring it up during an event that gives you free stuff? If you down want the stuff or don't like CW then don't play in the event.
Instead I applaud those who talk about how it is awesome that PGI is giving us goals that can be complete in 2-4 hours of play time.
We should all be talking about how even in a stomp mechs still get very good XP. Actually CW is a great place to level skills! Even in a bad match you can get 800+ XP per chassis. And with the improvements to queue time (at least it seemed improved, I never waited more than a minute or two for a match and most dropped much faster) you can run around 3 drops in an hour, which makes it much faster than leveling in a regular PUG match if you are on the loosing end most of the time. Don't forget that you usually get over 500,000 cbills each time you drop as well. That is a lot more than in a regular PUG match if you are on the loosing end for sure. Heck in regular pugs even great matches don't get you much more than 200,000, so you are still making more per time spent playing.
I hope the die-hards don't get upset with me for sharing this information, but there is no better way to grind CBills and level Chassis than in CW.
I really enjoyed this event and can't wait for the next event, no matter what it is!
