And thanks Hayden, for giving us all of these images to help immerse us in the BattleTech universe ... and for providing the inspiration to Sparks and others.

Of course, now I have a problem. I was pretty much set on using the Fourth as the basis for my new unit but suddenly the Second is an option again. Choices, choices...

If I do go with the Second, I'll use the white-fill version. Just a tad too much yellow in the other one.

I would have to say that's a LOT better than the original Diamond Shark logo.

.....That Diamond Shark symbol..... I appreciate the effort. The art is nice, but the style is horrid. Three decapitated shark heads is not a good way to depict Clan Diamond Shark.

I give you an A for Effort, but that's about as far as it goes.

The idea behind it was clan will come from all direction and THEY WILL TAKE YOU DOWN.......
That's what the Diamond Sharks DO!

If you have an idea more than happy to work something up......... post a sketch for me to look at

I see your perspective on the design. The first thing that came to mind when I read your response was, that if the heads represent attack from all directions, why are they facing away from their intended center target. Looks like they are scattering in all directions.

Please excuse me if I am being too critical. I am very fond of Clan Diamond Shark and their symbol. My friends and I claimed loyalty to Clan Diamond Shark back around ~1994'ish. Back when the clan was literally nothing more than a checkbox on a Mechfore UK sign-up sheet. I've had their symbol tattooed on my shoulder now for about 8 years, so I see it everyday, lol.

I simply think a symbol with a single shark (full shark or just 1 head) best represents the clan. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe every clan symbol has just one instance of the subject animal depicted (Falcon, Wolf, Bear, Viper, Raven, Scorpion, etc...). I am referring to main Clan symbols, not individual Clan Galaxy symbols and such.

I support the effort to come up with new and interesting symbols, I have seen quite a few that are just awesome. I can try to sketch an idea. Or see what you can come up with without using multiple instances of the shark head.

I hope this come off as constructive criticism as it is intended and not flaming and bickering.

Something that can be compared or connected with my name (Lightning) and with House Steiner so that I can use it as a signature. Currently working on that. If someone of you experts here have some ideas, well tell me, I'm open for some suggestions! Anyways thx in advance guys!
